"A True Taste of the Bahamas" Located in the heart of Arawak Cay, Nassau, Twin Brothers Seafood & Steakhouse is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience authentic Bahamian flavors, vibrant island energy, and top-tier hospitality. Known for its boldly seasoned dishes and refreshing tropical cocktails, this spot delivers a dining experience that perfectly captures the essence of the Bahamas.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Offerings The spicy jammin' jerk chicken is nothing short of incredible. The flavors are bold and deep, with a perfect balance of smoky, spicy, and slightly sweet notes that make each bite unforgettable. The jerk seasoning is layered with heat, but it doesn’t overpower—it enhances. Cooked to juicy perfection, the chicken has a beautiful charred exterior that locks in all those amazing spices. It’s served with traditional sides that complement the heat, making for a well-rounded, flavorful plate that’s impossible to resist.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ While the name of the cocktail escapes my memory, what can’t be forgotten is how refreshing and well-crafted it was. A perfect blend of tropical fruits, premium spirits, and just the right amount of sweetness, this drink was smooth, vibrant, and the perfect companion to the heat of the jerk chicken. Whether it had rum, pineapple, or citrus notes, one thing’s for sure—it was expertly made and dangerously easy to sip.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Entry The location at Arawak Cay gives it a bustling, authentic Bahamian feel, where you’re surrounded by the sounds of music, the scent of smoky grills, and the warm hospitality that the Bahamas is known for. The energy is lively but relaxed, making it the perfect place to unwind, enjoy a great meal, and soak in the island vibes.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Final Thoughts If you're in Nassau and looking for bold Caribbean flavors, great drinks, and an authentic island atmosphere, Twin Brothers Seafood & Steakhouse is the place to be. Whether you're visiting for the first time or you're a regular, this spot delivers a true taste of the...

Twin Brothers in Nassau is an absolute must-visit if you're seeking an authentic taste of the Bahamas. From the moment you step inside, you're welcomed by an energetic and vibrant atmosphere that captures the essence of island life. The restaurant is charmingly decorated, creating a relaxed yet lively setting perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family.

We began our culinary journey with a Caesar Salad adorned with succulent grilled shrimp. The crisp romaine was perfectly dressed, and the shrimp added a delightful flavor that set the tone for the meal. We opted for the fried Grouper for our main courses, which was expertly cooked to golden perfection. It was served alongside a generous portion of rice and peas and a fresh salad, each bite bursting with the vibrant flavors of the islands, and we chose the Jerk Chicken, a dish that was nothing short of sensations. The chicken was marinated to perfection, delivering a tender and spicy kick that paired beautifully with the classic comfort of rice and peas and crispy fries.

What truly elevates the experience at Twin Brothers is the exceptional customer service. The staff was not only professional and attentive but also genuinely friendly, making us feel like valued guests from the moment we arrived. Their warmth and enthusiasm added a special touch to the evening, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable.

As we savored our meals, we couldn't help but notice the lively buzz around us. The restaurant was bustling with energy, filled with laughter and conversation, which only added to the charm of the evening. It's no wonder that Twin Brothers has been highlighted on the Food Network; it’s a culinary gem that showcases the best of Bahamian cuisine.

Twin Brothers is a highly recommended destination for anyone looking to indulge in delicious food while soaking up the vibrant atmosphere of Nassau. With its delightful menu, charming ambiance, and outstanding service, it’s an experience that should not be missed when visiting...

We’ve been to this restaurant several times before, hoping it would improve, but last night made it crystal clear: we’re never coming back.

The experience was awful from start to finish. We waited 30 minutes just to be greeted by a server. When she finally appeared, she was shockingly rude and nonchalant — like we were bothering her just by being there. No smile, no energy, no basic courtesy. Easily one of the most lackadaisical servers I’ve ever encountered.

After ordering, we waited an hour for our food. My mom got the lobster, and it was terrible — dry, rubbery, and completely flavorless. It tasted like it had been fried hours ago and left under a heat lamp. My dad got the salmon — it was fine, but nothing to phone home about. No real seasoning, no standout flavor. Just plain.

I had the jerk chicken, which had solid flavor but was ridiculously spicy. So spicy it was hard to actually enjoy. The rice and peas were bland, the veggies were barely cooked, and the macaroni was mushy and tasteless. Everything tasted like it had been thrown together without care.

We also ordered both the traditional and tropical conch salad — and yes, we read the disclaimer and were prepared for a wait. But two hours? That’s beyond excessive. When it finally came, it was dropped off silently — no apology, no explanation, just a plate and a disappearing act.

The server never checked on us, never refilled drinks, never made eye contact unless we waved her down. It was like we were invisible unless it was time to pay.

This place has completely fallen off. The service was horrible, the food was forgettable at best, and the overall experience was a headache. There are too many other restaurants that know how to treat customers and serve decent food.

Save your time, save your money. One star...

When we arrived in the Bahamas, everyone raved about us going to the Fish Fry. It was highly recommended so we went with a few others. Honestly, it is very overrated. We are glad we went just for the sole purpose of us going to see the "local" side of the island and try the "local" food. But I would never go back .We tried Twin Brothers, mainly because it has appeared on numerous TV shows. We ordered the conch fritters. It had quite a bit pieces of conch shell in them (made it difficult to eat) and they taste very similar to hush puppies. Very bland and just okay. We also ordered their fried fish dish. It was typical fried fish. Not much seasoning. I asked what type of fish it was and she said it was swai. We actually really like swai fish when eating fried fish, and the fish was very clean tasting (not fishy). It was good, but not great. Our friends had the conch sandwich and ceviche. Both were good, but not great. I would say go the the Fish Fry to take in the atmosphere if you want to see some local aspect of the island and support some of the local businesses - as we wanted to. Also, there are a lot of locals trying to sell you things, so be prepared to bring some cash if you want to buy anything. Also, they may mislead you and state that they have ocean or water views - this is not true. None of them have a good view worth seeing from the restaurants - just fyi. We left one restaurant because they said they had ocean views and it was a view of water that looked like a small canal near a shipyard. With all that said, I don't regret seeing the local part of the island - but I definitely lost half a day where I could have sat beach side at our hotel.
