Unfortunately we had a very bad experience at the resort, my friend and I went for a quick weekend to enjoy the swimming pool and staying at the hotel for the weekend, during our staying at the pool area, we have noticed drank group of people who was harassing ladies across the pool and under the supervision of all staff. Pool managers ( Raed & Jad ) tried to control the situation and help by asking ladies if they are comfortable around them. However while exiting the pool area, my friend and I faced them directly and they were rude and getting very close to us trying to harass us without any fair, they were very loud and aggressive. While my friend tried to defend herself, they were shouting at her while being racist and very disrespectful, they also tried to get physical with her directly. We had to ask the security guy to take us to our room in order to make sure they don’t get close to us and we feel much safer. The surprising part was when we went to the reception to report this incident, we asked for the manager and Yasin showed up, who was understanding at the beginning then when we asked for a clear action with them he started to be less emphatic and try to make the problem smaller by saying “if they gotten physical with you, I would be able to take direct action” and “pool is public area and we cannot control the crowd there, if this happens at the loopy, I can take direct action”. Then we declined to his excuses and asked for someone higher, that’s when Oussama showed up and was a bit supportive, only after he shocked us by his solution were he suggested that in order to kick them off he will go to the “people who harassed us and tried to get physical with us” and tell them the ladies you tried to harass them they will call the police on you if you didn’t check out of the hotel!!!! And put us into a huge risk and throw our safety away!!!!
The surprising part was that the hotel has done NOTHING toward these people and we saw them the next day at the pool drank and enjoying their time by annoying ladies across the pool without any action taken against them.
Such a shame on a big international chain like Royal Saray, they have ruined our entire weekend, I felt unsafe and uncomfortable during my whole staying there, I felt also disgusted and disrespected. I would never ever repeat my staying, I recommend it to no one, specially for ladies as it’s not...

I forgot about everything, and all I can think of is the end of summer rays burning into my skin as I enjoyed my dream like visit by the pool
This visit I dedicated my whole visit around the pool, or shall I say the small lake residing at the heart of this palace like resort
It might sound like an exaggeration but honestly this is all I was looking for.
Have Fun, Refuel , and deeply recharge before I go back to my run till you drop life style
I entered this mystical palace tired , exhausted, and completely depleted
All I remember is Mr. Sabouhi - Manager greeting me at the front desk with a welcoming smile as if I just arrived from a long tiring journey on some safari route until I reached the gates of this magical place
I could not believe my eyes when I entered the room this time, I literally stopped just mesmerised by the view of the lake reflecting it’s underwater lights on its surrounding
In the near distance the sun was finally setting and in my mind all I can think of this view is the end of my run , finally I can drop down , and drop down I did
The next two days where very simple yet very therapeutic. It felt As if I checked into one of those rehabilitation resorts for the rich and famous when they want to disappear from sight.
Eat, drink, sleep, swim. All by the lake, from 8 am until well into the afternoon , people came and went and I had no purpose but to stay by the lake. in the lake and around the lake. The staff buzzing around like honey bees, soothing music played all day in the background matching the ambience of the place as if the designer selected the music along with the facade that it played into
Alas, it’s time to pack up and return to the busy jungle I call life
Remember, you can build a resort, but you can’t make it feel, thrive and vibrate like a creature of its own without the people that pace the hallways , facade, and make sure each corner is filled with life

Read moreWhen we first entered the hotel, we were impressed with the interior design of both lobby and the room. However, that was completely faded by the level of service and lack of professionalism. The food service at the beach was really bad as it took too long to get our food and drinks and once the food was received after pretty long time, there was a mistake in our order. Upon reporting the issue, they went for sometime and came back again with a wrong order. In addition to that, there was a mistake in our invoice which showed a drink we didn’t order. Second issue is that I orderd an iron and waited for 20 minuets without getting it which made me decide to go out without pressing my shirt in order to catch or restaurant's reservation. Third issue, which happened immediately after the second one, was the worst. I gave my valet parking my ticket to the concerned desk and waited for long time and once I rechecked with the desk they took my small ticket in order to check and lost it. This really made me upset and i was talking with everyone asking for my car and even went to the reception and asked for the duty manger to report the incident and surprisingly it was the duty manager whom i was talking with. He simply informed me that they couldn’t find my car and told me that he personally looked for it. This made me have on conclusion that my car was being used out of the hotel as there was no other explanation. After 35 minuets. I received my car and of course we lost our Restuarant's reservation. Upon checking out. I asked for the GM and i was told that he would arrive later and took my business card to be passed to the GM, but, he never contacted me despite the fact that the receptionist clearly witnessed my high temper. Moreover, I have left a complain in the online survey and I received an email on the 5th of May asking me to further discuss the matter and I have replied immediately requesting to be contacted by a Senior staff from Dubai office and I have not received any response until this date.
