Namaste Indya Restaurant, Bahrain — Restaurant in Bahrain Island

So looking at the Instagram profile this restaurant grabbed our attention. Let's begin with the good part. The ambience and the location was good with lot of parking space available. Being a foodie and having an immense love to try out different cuisines , we definitely expected more but alas was disappointed a bit. The menu options for breakfast seemed vast but was disappointed with the main course. Also found them to be a bit overpriced compared to the taste. We ordered the Indian railway mutton(green curry) and they offered to change it to red Curry as we preferred spicy. The waiter was well explained regarding the same.When we tasted the dish the gravy was the same sweet butter chicken gravy with mutton pieces. We had to ask the waiter to chnage the gravy the 2nd time and then they changed it and brought it back better this time. So all this was a red flag to us.

Also I didn't quite like the attitude of the waiters as they preferred serving the locals better over us.

Overall I would try going for the breakfast but definitely not returning for...

Mixed experience - great ambience, disappointing food

I recently visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience. The ambience was great, with beautiful decor and a cosy atmosphere. However, the food was disappointing. Despite the menu looking promising, the dishes were poorly executed and lacked flavour.

That being said, I would still recommend this restaurant for its great ambience and attentive service. The restaurant puts effort into creating a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for its guests.

Overall, while the food may not have been up to par, the ambience and service make up for it. If you're looking for a nice atmosphere(with Bollywood music in the background) to enjoy drinks and conversation, this place is worth checking out. Just be aware that the food may not be as good as...

Namaste Indya Restaurant is located in the Seef area of Bahrain, it’s an awesome Indian restaurant. The interior area is not big but adequate, there is an upstairs area, there is also an outside area, the decor is just amazing and stylish. The staff is attentive and helpful in exploring and explaining the menu on offer, there is lots of nice touches on the table like the mini drink cart holder. The food is freshly freshly cooked with nice spices and flavours, the portion size is absolutely massive, my stomach was well satisfied after, there was no room for desert.
