I tried this resturant twice in 2 consecutive days The best Tom Yom Soup in Bahrain Highly recommended The thing i hate about this place is the smell of the shop and how close it is and tight , speaking about the tables in the ground floor
I came twice with pre-arrival booking via their number and sat on Ground floor tables in both times
Service was 100% perfect in my first come My second visit service was poor and quite late but acceptable overall
Tom yum super nice Sushis not recommended I tried crab cake it was fishy with bad odour not recommended at all We had a noodle which had peanuts we never been told it has peanuts where my sister has allergy to it and could not eat it,we told the service man but did nothing about it nor changed it or remove it’s charges and made us pay it anyways!
Papaya salad is nice but not the best yet i tried it in Gulf hotel thai resturant was much better
But the Tom yom soup is super super nice and yummy I highly recommend it
MUST TRY: Shrimp Tempura & Tom Yom Soup🔥😍
Prices not bad quite in higher side but affordable Atmosphere is ok , but busy and crowd with closed small area and one bathroom serving everyone Smell of the place quite dusky and tiring but acceptable overall They serve good complimentary chips with sauces upon arrival which i liked
Noodles is bad and not recommended along with the crab cake very fishy and smelly made us got nauseated
Recommended overall but would be better if they take cuatomer’s opinion and comments on food seriously and more into consideration , first day the sushi was too dry,i told the manager who is a very nice gentleman about it however did nothing but only brought us a spice mayo sauce🙂which changed nothing , we left 6 pieces away as it was non eatable ( i forgot the name of the sushi we took) but not at all recommended , picture provided
Second say my sister and i were in the last table and we were ignored , no one passes by to see if we need anything ! Plus the crab cake was so fishy and bad along with thr noodle that had peanuts 🥜! When we told the staff called Alee ( very nice staff overall by the way) he did nothing!

Read moreI recently dined at EatThai in Seef with high hopes of enjoying authentic Thai cuisine, but unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations.
First and foremost, the quality of the food was disappointing. It quickly became evident that many of the dishes were pre-cooked rather than freshly prepared. This not only affected the flavors but also the overall texture of the meals. For example, the Pad Thai lacked the vibrant flavors and fresh ingredients one would expect from a well-cooked dish. Instead, it tasted bland and lacked the delightful balance of sweetness, saltiness, and acidity that makes this dish so beloved.
On a positive note, the ambiance of the restaurant timeout was warm and inviting, and it could certainly be a nice spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. However, the most crucial aspect— the food—did not meet the expectations I had based on the restaurant's reputation.
In summary, if you're looking for a true Thai dining experience in Seef, I would recommend exploring other options. Unfortunately, my visit to EatThai did not satisfy my cravings, and I left feeling disappointed. I hope they can improve their food quality...
Read moreI’ve read a lot of positive reviews but unfortunately I didn’t have the same experience.
I’ll start with the positives:
The staff were all lovely and super accommodating, really think they did a great job
The venue is well decorated and the atmosphere is great
The Tom yum soup was decent and the Szechuan chicken was nice and spicy
But as for the why I didn’t love it:
The Pad Thai I thought was quite poor, my friend didn’t even manage to finish it. I tried it and I found to be very bland and not very authentic
The garlic rice was undercooked and many of the grains were crunchy and not the right texture at all. Really disappointing for a Thai restaurant
The deep fried prawns were very oily and not the consistency I expected either
The prawn crackers I got had a burnt flavour
It’s quite expensive despite not being super authentic nor the quality I’d expect. I was a bit taken aback by the prices especially once the food came out.
Overall, I came away a little disappointed because I’ve had far nicer and more authentic Thai meals in Bahrain for more...
