Elite Tower — Hotel in Bahrain Island

Before you book a room or apartment in ET you need to consider the following from my three days experience in that hotel:

1. the staff: the front disk or reception staff are lacking professionalism and welcoming attitude. Even a smile wasn’t there! And when I called for the internet issue - I will come to it - the respond of the front disk lady was ‘that’s unbelievable’?. Housekeeping staff clean and organize the rooms nicely, but as one or more of the reviewers said the bed sheet not changed and the shower gel and shampoo not refilled till you call for that!

2. the Internet: it’s really slow, and the hotel gives only for three devices! In which century we are! And bcz we were 6 persons, when I called the reception the lady said ‘we gave you two usernames and passwords - two papers’ I told her ‘ yah that correct, but they are both the same’ she strangely replied ‘ that’s unbelievable ‘ simply I replied ‘ why not look at them by yourself!’ What she mean by ‘that’s unbelievable ‘ she didn’t believe me! That’s not a professional reply!. Later on she sent two new usernames and passwords.

3. no essential services like spa and restaurant, many reviewers commented on that. At least a restaurant for din-in in the room in case a lazy guest to go out to eat.

4. swimming pool: it’s big and great one on the top floor but no bar for coffee or drinks.

5. parking: there is parking at the back of the hotel, you can’t access to it without the card from the security guy he should come and open it for you or you need to call him. Something else, the parking is not tented

6. the furniture is ok in general, the kitchen and appliances in the kitchen were ok or even more than ok.

7. the TV was working but OSN wasn’t. I didn’t call to fix it bcz I was busy with the internet issue.

8. if you read the comments, you will find the owner reply to some of the reviewers mostly who gave 4-5 stars. And the reply almost the same. ;)

9. AC, woks fine except in one of the room, it was work poorly.

10. complementary water, coffee and tea: they proved you only one small bottle of water (1 SAR) and non-refillable :)))))

In general, it’s good hotel. But the staff need to be trained, the spa and restaurant to be considered, tented parking and internet to opened for all...

Elite Tower is part of the Elite Hotel chains. |This was our first time to choose this property since we have stayed in Elite Seef Residence few years back and that too was excellent.||We as a family of 7 including kids were surprised by the fact that Apartment was really big and well-designed, the views from each room was immaculate. ||- During check-in we were given an amazing room having view of the Sea from different directions which was the best part. All the way from Karbabad beach till Ritz Carlton resort was visible. |- The Apartment was very clean and is well maintained by the staff from housekeeping.|- Everyone from the management, reception, engineering, housekeeping and security are working at their Best to assure that customers are fully satisfied and each request is handled with top priority.|- There are shattaf available in each washroom, unlike the other reviews I have read which mention otherwise.|- The Pool and Gym at the roof top is very good and enjoyable. It's was just the right size for us. The windy rood-top added a plus to the swimming experience. |- There is BBQ facilities at the roof near the pool with a seating room air-conditioned to enjoy the BBQ after making it. Just get your Coal and Meat to start up the BBQ.|- All necessary amenities are available in the apartment that makes you feel fully comfortable like a Home. |- Close proximity to Seef mall and Bahrain City Center and Bahrain Mall.|- Free parking available in front and behind the Tower.|- Quick check-in and check-out was highly appreciated. Extended check-out was facilitated upon request. |- Local supermarket available just adjacent to the Tower and they deliver directly to your room upon phone call.|- Tower is near to Seef Mosque.||Finally I would like to give special credits and high appreciation to all the Team of Elite Tower that put-in an extensive effort to make our stay a very memorable one.||- Miss.
