This probably is the best boutique hotel in the heart of Sylhet city. Pros: 1. Not too many rooms. It’s a one-storied hotel with ~10 rooms, which gives it a homely atmosphere. 2. Location is crazy good - right in front of Dargah gate, right next to Nurjahan Hospital, inside a quiet alleyway. 10 second walking distance from the main road without any of the noise or pollution of the main road. 3. Cost is comparatively more reasonable than nearby 3-star and so called 5-star hotels. 4. Staff are incredibly friendly. Mr. Hanif and Mr. Momen are some of the most well behaved guys you’ll ever meet. 5. Strong Internet connection. 6. Modern, well furnished rooms and bathrooms. Some of the rooms have wooden interior decoration too. 7. They’ve got a small patch of Zen garden at the back. 8. They’ve got ample car parking space. Cons: 1. Since it’s comparatively a new establishment, they have yet to add large dressing table mirrors in the room. Female guests will have to use the washroom mirror. 2. Restaurant / kitchen service still haven’t started. They promise to open it soon. Meanwhile they’ll fetch you any food you’d like from outside.

The hotel is mid range type place to stay. They have ac & non ac rooms. Sometimes they provide discounts. Especially on weekdays or off season. Staff behavior is friendly & welcoming. Their service is good. All type of room has complimentary breakfast. In breakfast menu they have 2/3 items with tea, juice etc. the environment is homely type. They have a nice garden & parking area for several cars. I redone d this hotel. However they have to clean up some of their walls. their Walls are somewhere I found like damp. Washroom is clean. Overall a good place to stay. They provide clean & washed towel, blanket every time

Uodate June 2022: The place got dirty. There are তেলাপোকা in bed. Showers not working. Avoid if you prefer hygienic place. -------- Best place to stay at sylhet town. Very affordable. 1. Stuffs are good. Owner is super cool. 2. Very quiet. Good if you're looking for a place to chill. 3. It got outside sitting place in its area. So you can chill at night. 4. We arrived early in the morning but they gave us a room early. Just call them to book. Good place.

For Me It's Never Been A Hotel. It's Always Been A Home To Me. Which In Reality Actually Is!

You May Be Staying Here On Holiday or Business Trip. While Your Staying The Whole Team of Bottom Hill Palace Hotel Aims For One Thing For Their Client’s, And That Is, "You Never Feel Away From Your Home". And Actually They Means It And Work Accordingly.

This Japanese Style Boutique Hotel Have Very Limited Rooms ( 8 Rooms If I Am Not Wrong), A Garden With Sitting Arrangement Surrounded By Water Bodies, A Huge Parking Place, A Kids Playing Place, A Big Dining Where You Can Enjoy Your Foods After A Long Day And Even Have Business Meetings Anytime of The Day. They Serve Simple Yet Tasty And Hygienic Complimentary Breakfast. The Security Is Very Strict. And They Also Have BBQ Facilities & Can Arrange A Surprise Party For You.

The Rooms Are Big And Each Are Equipped With Everything You Need With The Sense if Aesthetic Sense Along With Space Management. The Washrooms Are Clean And Have Hot & Cold Shower Facilities.

Now, Few May Complain About Some Minor Issues, But Come On It's A Place Where Different Kind of People Stay And Each Day And Handle Things Differently. So If You Find Any Problem Please Inform Them Right Away And They Will Be Fixed Before Your Thoughts Are Over About The Issues.

Regarding Service, Well I Can Say That It's A 24 Hrs of Genuine Hospitality They Offer. For Example You Have Early Morning Check Out And Needs The Hot Water Facility To Turned On ( They Have A Central Geyser), You Call Them 3 a.m. At Night And It's On! I Can Give Several Examples. In Nutshell They Are Ready To Serve For Your Comfort Staying Round The Clock. Good WiFi Connection. And They Also Offer To Bring Food From Your Favorite Restaurant And Serve It In Their Dining Where You Can Actually Enjoy Your Food With The Restaurant Noise. They Have The Menu of Paach Bhai & Panshi At Each Room And They Charge Only 40 Taka Other Than The Food Bill As An Service Charge, Which Is Absolutely Reasonable.

From The Security Guard To The General Manger They All Have Something In Common, A Smiling Face To Make You Feel As Much As Possible To Feel That You Are Staying At Home.

The Staffs Sonjoy Da, Jannat, Tahmina, Rabbi, Rony, Mobbaser They Are Just Like Family Members.

The Room Tariff Is Extremely Reasonable. You Can't Complain About It. The Environment Is So So Clam & Quite That You Hardly Get Any Noise Even It's A Few Walking Steps From Dargah.

I Stayed 8 Day's Recently At My Last Stay. And Looking Forward For My Next Stay Soon.

One Thing That Really Surprised Me Is That The Owner Knows Me By Name But We Never Meet Each Other. Later On I Got To Know He Knows Me As I Am Regular & Well He Actually Takes News of Each Guests. No Matter A Regular Like Me or Staying For One Time.

I Came To Know It When I Was Checking Out On My Recent Visit, At Some Point of A Conversation Someone Told Me, That The Owner Took Care of Something I Was Talking And Trying To Sort. This Was Amazingly A Great Experience.

The Whole Team Work For Only One Thing, " Ensure Your Comfortable Staying With A Smiling Face"...

Another Thing I Should Mention, The Last Time Checkout Their Was Some Unrest So There Was A Chance That My Train Might Get Delayed. So Not Only They Keep The Room For Me Also Was Taking News Unless I Confirm Them I Am On The Train And Everything Is Fine. And A Call If I Reached Safely From Someone At The Hotel Is Always Something Makes You Feel How Much They Care & How Deeply They Understand The Word Hospitality.

So That's My Home While I Am At Sylhet On A Business Trip.

And I Am Looking Forward For My Next Trip Soon Around Mid Ramadan InshaAllah.

I Wish Them All The Best. The Staffs & The Owner's. They Not Only Deserves It But They Earned It.

Thank You Bottom Hill Palace For Being My Palace Home...

I had a lot of hope for this place looking at there web page and discussion over the phone it seemed a great venue which was discribed as opposite the road to the holy shrine, pictures on their web page show you beautiful rooms with wonderful setting and a nice garden and car park with a restaurant, but in reality when you get there its a different story , though the hotel is opposite the road to the holy shrine . It is about 100meters set back behind some high rise building s and trees towering over .the hotel is on ground floor . being a tropical place the site is a haven for mosquitoes. Once you enter the place you find the staff are dull and miserable. The rooms a small and you feel like you are in a prison as there's no day light and fresh air in the rooms because of tall buildings and trees towering the hotel, there are Windows but dare not open them slightest gap in the Windows and you get rush mosquitoes coming in. In morning they do free breakfast, when got 7am I rang the reception to enquire about the breakfast, but nobody answered so I went out and I found 3 staff asleep on the floor on front loby next to the reception , I woke one up and he said it would 1/2hour for breakfast because it has to brought in from outside restaurant s they don't have one, as I had business meeting I went without as I could not wait half an hour, every time I rang for room service it took at least 20 minutes before somebody showed up and they were miserable and it take ages before they complete your request like getting you a 3 in 1 coffee. Of the three days I stayed there. The staff were miserable and inattentive, the breakfast was always cold and my room was not done up once I asked once and I was told as a single guest my room didn't need cleaning as much, though there was a kettle and cup the coffee was never refilled nor was the cups washed and replaced, my total stay there was like I was prison with some miserable prison officer s When you get here you find the hotel next door 3star rated is cheaper if you talk to the management.with spacious rooms fresh air and no mosquitoes, with restaurant and a gym. In my views the review on the net is either made up by themselves and relatives, I can't see any paying guest giving good reviews like they have.who wants to see staff asleep on the floor blocking your way out first thing in the morning.I definitely won't...

Title: Unpleasant Experience: Unprofessional Behavior at Check-In

Rating: ★

I recently had an unfortunate experience when I walked into this hotel. Upon entering, I couldn't help but notice one of the staff members seemingly laughing at me with his colleagues. This behavior made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome, which I found to be highly disrespectful and unprofessional. As a guest, I believe it is essential to be treated with respect and courtesy from the moment of arrival. Unfortunately, the behavior of this particular staff member left a negative impression on me. Despite feeling uneasy, I decided to confront him about the situation. However, he denied any wrongdoing, which only added to my disappointment. Feeling disheartened by the encounter, I made the decision to leave the hotel and find alternative accommodation. It was disconcerting to experience such unprofessional behavior, especially during the check-in process, which should be a smooth and welcoming experience for guests. In my opinion, a hotel's staff should strive to create a positive and inclusive environment for all guests. Instances of unprofessional behavior, such as laughing at guests or making them feel uncomfortable, should never occur. It is crucial for the management to address such issues promptly and ensure that all staff members adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. While I cannot comment on the overall quality of the hotel or its amenities, my personal experience at check-in was disappointing and left me with a negative impression. I hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and works towards creating a more welcoming and respectful environment for...
