Spicy Restaurant in Sylhet is one of the most popular dining spots in the city, well known for its delicious food, welcoming environment, and excellent service. Located in a convenient area, it is a great place for families, friends, or even business meetings. The restaurant has earned its reputation for serving a wide variety of dishes, ranging from traditional Bangladeshi meals to flavorful Indian and Chinese cuisines, all prepared with a touch of authenticity.
One of the best things about Spicy Restaurant is the freshness of the food. Every dish feels carefully prepared, using quality ingredients and rich spices that bring out the perfect taste. Their biryani, kebabs, and curries are particularly popular, while their Chinese menu also receives a lot of praise from customers. Portions are generous, and the price is quite reasonable compared to the quality and service provided.
The atmosphere inside is comfortable, clean, and family-friendly, which makes it suitable for both casual and special occasions. The staff members are polite, attentive, and always ready to assist, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience.

Read moreVisited Spicy Restaurant for the first time four years ago. Brought my wife the day after we got married and we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere (although she was a regular diner there).
During our latest visit to Bangladesh we thought it a must that we’d revisit to bring back memories and we went there on New Year’s Eve. Atmosphere is still really good however that’s about all there is. Food was awful. We ordered the mixed grill and the chow mein. The mixed grill was overcooked (beef was like chewing rubber) and the chow mein had no flavour.
We said we’d never visit again however as fate would have it, we visited again a few days later with a group of friends as this was the only place that wasn’t bursting on a Friday night and we could hear one another talk. This time we shared soup, wontons, grilled whole chicken, and a biryani between us.
My wife and the others enjoyed the soup. I did not. The wontons were okay, the grilled chicken overcooked and dry, and the biryani only had something like four pieces of chicken in it.
So it wasn’t just a one off. My wife who used to dine here regularly agreed it wasn’t the same and I don’t think we’ll be visiting again during our next visit...
Read moreI regret to say that my recent experience with mutton biryani was extremely disappointing. I had high hopes for this beloved dish, but unfortunately, the one I had was a far cry from what I expected.
The mutton in the biryani was tough and overcooked, making it difficult to chew and unpleasant to taste. Additionally, the rice lacked the signature spices and aromatics that are essential to a good biryani, resulting in a bland and unappetizing dish.
Furthermore, the portion size was inadequate, with only a small amount of mutton and rice served. The overall presentation of the dish was lackluster, with no effort made to elevate its visual appeal or make it look appetizing.
In light of my experience, I cannot recommend this mutton biryani to anyone seeking a satisfying and flavorful meal. I urge the restaurant to take action to improve the quality of their dish and consider revising their recipe and cooking techniques to deliver a more authentic and enjoyable biryani experience to...
