Hostal TerraBella S.R.L — Hotel in La Paz

We stayed at Hostal Bellavista for 2 nights in total: one before and one after our trip to Uyuni and were satisfied with it overall.||||The hostel is very basic, so you can't expect luxuries and for the price that wouldn't be fair to expect anyway. We saw 2 different rooms (both on the first floor) and liked them overall. There is no heating in the rooms and hot water only runs for a limited amount of time (but you can stretch it as I experienced). Single glazing didn't make that any better and in Sep/Oct it was relatively cold. Luckily, however, you get lots of bedding.||||We were also pleasantly surprised to have received a room for 4 even though we only booked one for 2 persons. The view in our first room was at the Teleferico while the second night was towards the bus station. A little bit of noise was there but nothing too much.||||The location is honestly excellent! We ended up using the bus station 4 times in total (arriving in La Paz, leaving for Uyuni, returning to Uyuni, and leaving back to Peru) and couldn't have wished for anything more. The walk to the bus terminal is still a little difficult due to the altitude if you haven't acclimatised yet.||||Laundry is really cheap and fast and the hotel was nice enough to keep our luggage in a secured area for us on the final day as we were visiting La Paz all day before leaving for the bus back to Peru.||||Overall excellent location and a decent basic hostel. What a great spot we lucked upon. The staff (especially Miriam) was amazing. She was so patient with my not so amazing spanish and took such great care of us our entire stay... We had several logistical issues that required extending our stay a few times, and she handled it flawlessly. The rooms were consistently high quality at a really reasonable price (we used the two bed private bath option).||||It was so nice having such a great place to come back to in the evening, after a great day of wandering La Paz. It was in a quiet location and we had a great view of the city and Teleferico outside our window. ||||It gets a little chilly at night but they definitely provide plenty of blankets to warm up with and the showers get plenty hot...||||Cant recommend this place enough especially if you want a quieter spot away from (but not too far away) with the perfect walking distance to many sights and...

This hostel is suitable for the night, however any long term stay I would recommend staying elsewhere. The rooms are furnished to a low quality, with the beds being uncomfortable and toilet/shower were dirty.
