Today I wanted to try the sopa de mani - google recommended Café Banais in my area. What should I say, google was right! I had a great and delicious soup, very interesting combination with the Llama Carpaccio. The carpaccio was excellent - according to the Italian original. I enjoyed my stay here and will come again.

It’s a great place if you are looking for a lunch while is exploring the city. It’s very clean and the price is honest. I ordered the Menu Del Día and it was delicious. A lot of food! The Sopa de Maní - very tradicional- was wonderful. Great service and quiet atmosphere. WiFi is great.

Ideal para venir a almorzar o cenar, aparte de tener menús ejecutivos al medio día también cuentan con menú a la carta. Con mi esposo nos pedimos una entrada, Fiesta andina, una delicia y como platos de fondo, llama con salsa de ají colorado y risotto de quinua con hongos. La entrada y los platos de fondo muy bien servidos, nosotros comemos bastante y con estos platos quedamos más que satisfechos pero siempre con espacio para un buen postre como el Cheesecake de quinua con frutos rojos. Si estas en La Paz anda a comer rico al Café Banais.

Quiet, and cozy cafe Everything is clean Staff is friendly Price is OK. We took quinoa risotto, a few things from the bar (yukka and cheese our fav) and a meat dish. All was good

Not the first time I come and it is always good. Had the daily lunch menu: delicious. At Bs. 35, good value for money! Delicious home made artisanal chirimoya ice cream 😋
