For a deluctable meal, look no further.

I read positive things about this restaurant, so we decided to give it a shot. We have nothing but great things to say about this place, the employees, ambience and of course the food.

We arrived about 45 minutes before opening and there was already about 20 people ahead of us. The anticipation was killing us.

I live plantains and since it was one of the items on the menu, I couldn't wait to see and taste this particular dish!

To our surprise the 3 course meal even included a drink. There were two options, so we had one each and they both had nice flavours.

The starter: Platano Relleno (stuffed plantain), was amazing. My mother makes an El Salvador version called Empanadas de Platano and I absolutely love them. She doesn't need to know that this dish was exquisite!!!

The Main: Mondongo (pork), was delicious. It was accompanied by other goodies to which I have no recollection of the names or compositions, but I can tell you that it was eaten pretty quick.

Dessert: Bueñuelo, was pretty good as well. It was like a donut, with ice cream and other dried fruits along with a marmelade. The server explained each dish, but I just couldn't wait for everything to get in my belly 😋

The servers were fabulous, very attentive and efficient. This restaurant is a super great value for your money.

I highly recommend and only wish I had found this sooner, so we could have one...

I highly recommend this restaurant as it was one of our best dining experiences in La Paz. For just 89 BOB, you get a full course menu including an entrée, main dish, dessert, and drinks—a fantastic deal for the quality offered.

The meal began with a delicious soup accompanied by complimentary bread and sauce, both of which were excellent. The juices were incredible, and we even asked for a second maracuyá juice because it was so good. The main dish was simply exquisite, perfectly balanced in flavor and presentation. Finally, the dessert was amazing, and we had the chance to watch part of its preparation, as we were seated near the chefs. And of course with every dish you have the full explanation in english or spanish depending on your preference!

Given the restaurant’s popularity and limited opening hours (12:00 PM to 2:30 PM), I strongly recommend arriving 30 minutes before opening to secure a spot. The atmosphere is bustling and fast-paced, so it’s not the place to linger over a meal. However, you can eat at your own pace—the service is incredibly efficient, with courses arriving almost immediately after you finish the previous one. At the end, the staff gently hints that it’s time to leave to make space for others, which is completely understandable given the high demand and reputation of the restaurant.

“I don’t regret trying it, but I regret going” the theme for my partner’s and mine’s visit today. We were so excited to treat ourselves to what looked like a fun experience after some difficulties in la Paz already.

First off, seems like a lot of low reviews are people complaining about the wait and size. It’s boutique and only open from 12-2:30, you make it or you don’t, I don’t think that’s bad personally. Just expect it and be there by 12. You should only blame yourself if you are upset with the system.

What really matters is the food. One persons 1 star reviewed sort of hit this: super instagram worthy, but super lacking in flavors and textures. We were smiling the whole time for the experience but also noting that each course seemed bland, literally lukewarm, and everything can be chewed by our grandmothers.

What really sucked was 3 hours following and the rest of the day. We didn’t eat anything before this meal besides some coffee and bread for breakfast so you can narrow it down quick to the incessant stomach pains and bodily functions the rest of the day. We skipped dinner due to discomfort and when the sun went down we both found ourselves scrambling for a toilet to have the colorful lunch exploding from both ends.

Fine atmosphere, fine place, fine idea, but a restaurant needs to deliver on its food, and this...

The perfect mix of textures. balance of unique flavors, range of temperatures, table-side sauce-drizzeled presentations, exotic, fresh, and healthy ingredients -- verbal descriptions cannot adequately explain thus culinary experience. Let me put it this way: I've been hanging out with 20 Foodies for two weeks and I haven't bothered to review any place because we're just too busy eating and recovering. If you read my reviews then you know I reserve 5-stars for true excellence. This place is 10-stars. Definitely the best restaurant I ate at in Bolivia and we went to some top-notch places. It's cool because it's super busy and really active and crowded and you can see into the kitchen where 20 people are running wild in an organized fashion, and the food is delectable and the presentation amazing. Comparable to a five star Michelin restaurant. And our server was awesome: I accidentally dropped six US $100 bills on the floor and he just picked it up and gave it to me, even though I didn't notice for a long time. Needless to say I gave him a huge tip.
