I've read other reviews describing the reception as welcoming. Our experience was quite the opposite, where the only interest seemed to be in getting paid. Maybe a little was lost in (Google) translation - despite advertising English spoken, there was none - but it was distinctly unfriendly.||Room was clean, reasonably large, A/C effective. But at this price, why no soap/shampoo ? Breakfast was inadequate.||A further impression was that the manager seemed determined to sell us excursions through her as a priority, presumably with some commission, and was unhappy that we went elsewhere.||Fernando is very expensive, and this Pousada is probably mid range, so we don't have an issue with that. In the very center of Vila dos Remedios, next to the bus and taxi stand, next to very good restaurants, next to the postoffice and not far from the bank, and what else is closeby: well, the nice historical museum, and the Remedios fort on the hill, an absolute must to go: breathtaking view in all directions! But to write a bit more about the pousada: its above basic, as it has a very good aircon, a refrigerator and a shower with hotwater that works well, if there is water! We had no water for a whole day, as it is delivered by truck, and they were late. Drinking water is a general problem on the island. J'ai fait ma réservation plusieurs mois en avance mais j'ai dû payer en arrivant, parce que ma carte de crédit n'a jamais été facturée avant notre arrivée.||Le personnel est très sympathique et gentil, comme Mme Abda, le monsieur et la fille du déjeuner (j'ai oublié leurs noms).||Notre chambre était celle de numéro 4 et était très petite et il manquait d'espaces de rangement. Les chambres 5 et 6 sont plus grandes.||La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas tous les jours. Un jour elle a été remplacée complètement et a arrêté de fonctionner pendant la nuit. On a failli mourir de chaleur. Le lendemain j'ai demandé la réparation et cela n'a été fait qu'en fin de journée, et ce, parce que j'ai dû interrompre mes activités dans île pour aller vérifier. Rien n'avait été fait avant mon retour à la pousada.||Mon voisin de chambre m'a dit que sa télé ne fonctionnait pas, mais puisque je n'étais pas à Noronha pour la télé, cela ne m'a pas dérangé. Le lendemain nous avons constaté que notre télécommande n'étais plus où elle était. Probablement le technicien de la climatisation l'a mis par erreur avec ses outils. Après notre départ j'ai reçu un message de la propriétaire disant que la télécommande avait été retrouvée.||À quelques reprises nous (nous et d'autres chambres) avons manqué d'eau et il a fallu attendre pour se laver.||Le déjeuner le matin était simple mais très bon. Les employés qui s'en occupent sont très gentils.||L'emplacement de la pousada est excellent, près de tout, mais malheuresement trop près de la coopérative de taxis. Ils n'ont aucun savoir vivre et parlent fort, crient et klaxonent pendant la nuit. Le téléphone sonne très fort et personne ne répond. On a l'impression qu'ils sont dans notre chambre. Ce n'est pas de la faute de la pousada, mais de ces gens impolis.||Bref, comme partout en île, la pousada est chère pour ce qu'elle offre.||Je n'y...
