Hotel Perun Lodge — Hotel in Bansko

It is definitely not a 4 stars hotel. From the moment i arrived they asked money for parking that was supposed to be free. When i payed with cash, the lady from reception was nagging her head and talked to the man from there something totally not understandable. At reception staff was hardly understanding English and they lacked any interest to offer informations and help, they never smiled and seemed bothered by all the clients there. The room i booked was a junior suit and it was supposed to have a microwave and a refrigerator. Those were missing from the room and when i checked out i asked about that and they blamed booking for offering wrong informations about the rooms they have. Cleaning was never done, except changing bed sheets once (and those had holes) and throwing the trash away. The room was big enough and warm. The location is close to the gondola lift, only 7-10 minutes of walking. The pool was not heated and both pools for kids and the big one had same temperature. The breakfast was more or less the same but at least the food was ok and the guy from entrance to restaurant was very nice. I don't recommend because you book and pay something and they give you something else and if you dare to say something, they blame on booking for wrong informations....

It was a terrible experience. We were a group of students from Greece. the first morning some water was spilled in the room and they came and bullied us a guy who was supposed to be security told us to give him 50 euros to not have a problem with this. When we refused he threatened to throw us out of our room in the middle of the room. After we spoke with our agent we paid 59 euros as a guarantee that until the next day there won't be any damages to the room Next day some. Hours before the checkout the cleaning lady (who told them about the water) called a manager because she said we were smoking (we are all non smokers) and they said they will charge us plus 50 euros but because there were no damages they would.just not.give our money back. Then they threw us out of our room one hour before the checkout. They also never cleaned the room while we were there and the stuff was always very rude. This experience really ruined our trip so I suggest to everyone to stay away from.this hotel. All they seem to care is to make some extra...

Totally NOT a 5* hotel. The bad things: -The food (buffet) was the most disgusting food ever I was offered in a hotel. On one day the served food which was the same food as the day before and just heated. Today, they just offered spaghetti Bolognese and French fries with "chicken" nuggets, is this the food you expect in a 5* star hotel? Furthermore, every single day, the food was not heated at all. -Next point: rooms seem new and renovated at the first view, but if you stay some hours you see it's already rotten again. Heaters also don't work some time. -parking is insanely expensive, 20lv a day, it's cheaper to park the car in front of the Gondola.. we had a suite with a kitchen, but where Is the equipment? Do they expect me to bring knife, plate and a pan?

Good things: -spacious rooms, nice balcony, good bathroom. -close to gondola, 200m -nice spa area

Can only recommend you to go there without booking half-board. But also then, there are way better...
