The hotel (as of the main building) and it's facilities are both very good. We were 2 couples, and booked for two nights the "two bedroom apartment". We arrived in the evening and the receptionist was very nice and polite, he explained everything we needed to know about our room, where the pool area is, the ski center and everything

I really liked that they cooperate with a ski rental place "Pirin 2000" (which has amazing staff by the way) and you get 10% off if you rent from them with a voucher from the hotel. There is also a room close to the reception that you can leave your skis in if you need to. There is also a free bus (for hotel customers) available from the hotel that goes exactly to the lift and ski rent area.

The pool was very nice and spacious, the jacuzzi had a limit of 4 people at a time which was perfect for us because we were four and it wouldn't be nice and comfortable if more people got in. There is a gym and a sauna, also an aroma sauna, (both of them were extremely hot so i didn't last long insidešŸ˜…). All of the above closes at 20:00 o clock. There was a life guard by the pool, you could order cocktails with an additional charge but the price was quite cheap, compared to other places with cocktails.

The apartment/room was very big, i liked that we had two toilets, a big living room, big bedrooms and everything was very clean.

The heating wasn't very good. Because there was so much space there wasn't enough heating and for about 1-2 hours we were not very warm. There is an aircondition at the very back of the living room (which isn't enough for the whole space) and both of the bedrooms had something like a small radiator that was hot when you touched it but 5cm from it you couldn't feel any warmth. We only got very warm when we were under the duvets

The rooms in general were quite old fashioned and (personally) i wouldn't rate them as 4 star. Also there were some people on the upper floor doing dirty stuff and walking around and we could hear everything. The stand were the hairdryer in the bathroom is was about to fall off and a bit dangerous to get an electric shock.

Breakfast was very good, quite a variety of options, i really liked that they had baby soft food, which i haven't seen anywhere until now.

For that price for four people (when you share the total) it's worth it. But if you are a couple or a solo traveler and the price is quite expensive don't expect it to be...

Don't be fooled. This isn't a 4 star hotel at all. I expected much higher quality for that rating.

Rooms: We stayed at the 4 person apartment. The whole interior is cheap and used. There were 2 bathrooms but only one shower. One of the rooms had a burnt wall socket and the heating couldn't be turned on. The beds were old, uncomfortable, with springs and mine was broken. Shower was clunky. One of the balcony doors couldn't close. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Room service: One of the bathrooms didn't have soap. On the next day they threw out the old soap but didn't left new ones so we had to wash with shower gel.

Spa: It was ok. Pool water was warm, sauna wasn't very hot but not cold either, the stream bath should have been warmer. But still you could see parts of the walls peeling. Definitely it was missing the clean and new feeling.

Restaurant: The breakfast was edible. Limited choices to pick from and the quality was a just below the standard hotel breakfast.

Ski shuttle: The shuttles were frequent and waited for people to get on. The driver was very considerate and helpful.

If you are looking for a cosy place to stay and relax I would recommend to go somewhere else like Ivan...

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment, the room is clean and spacious, the bed quite comfortable - however the balcony has no privacy, with only a small divider at waist height between ours and the next room.

On one of the days, we were in our room between 14h and 16h for quiet time in hopes that our child would get some rest. From the next room there was constantly loud noise, banging on the walls - which I found out to be renovations being done. It is in poor taste to make this kind of noise during these hours, let alone adjacent to an occupied room - as guests we are here to relax, not to listen to tools through the wall.

The pool is large, and the water temperature is good.

We opted to include breakfast and dinner in our stay, and while the variety is great, temperature control for food items sitting out would have been nice, most dishes were between lukewarm and almost cold. Lunch menu is well rounded with very good items from what we tried. The animator for children is friendly, but for the children’s movie in the evenings, there is no staff to supervise...
