Guest House Stay Nexus — Hotel in Sofia City

If I could, I would give 0 stars. I was looking up some old reviews, everything looked fine, but let me give you a review of the situation now. Total scam.

The location was bad.

Furniture was old and broken, bath wasn’t working, it wasn’t clean AT ALL. We found hairs in the bath and in the bed. The bed was COVERED in hairs. I doubt the sheets were even changed.

The bed was horrible, the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever laid on. I am sure sleeping on the rocks outside would be more comfortable and pleasant. The bedroom is basically an architectural error. The roof is pretty low (it’s an attic roof) and whenever you wanna get up you hit your head. I am sure the room has never EVER been cleaned before. It was full of dust and it was hard to breathe even with open door. The bedroom is a little box with no windows and bad lighting.

THE SHEETS WERE TERRIBLE. For some reason I got so itchy from the sheets. I guess I will have to get a tetanus jab now. 😐

The whole room smelled old and musty. The bathroom STINKS. I would rather live in a trash can that go trough being there again.

The heating stopped in the middle of the night, it quickly got cold….

The manager didn’t seem too worried about the state of the room. Overall wasn’t pleased with the costumer service.

I stayed in that room more than 10 sleepless hours, I was so angry I just left at 6 am to go to another better hotel.

!THEY WILL NOT REFUND! I was supposed to stay there 4 nights (which is impossible and inhuman) and I didn’t even get my money back.

Nothing new to add here, everything is already well said in the rest bad reviews. The place (3rd top floor) looks awesome in the photos but in person, a catfish. Also, there was a misunderstanding with the check out hours (this was my mistake) so we left late while the next guests waited downstairs, and the cleaning lady just took a look around (nothing much to clean at first sight) but didn't change the sheets or anything. Sofa pillows were already dirty before our arrival. Spider webs and sunflower shells in every corner and mold around the bathtub. Also furnitures like sofas and chairs are placed in a very uncomfortable manner on "A frames", even the toilet is uncofortable for common height people. The bedroom is obviously modified, which is not a bad idea but the construction is ready to fall apart. I couldn't close the door entirely cause I was afraid my force would tear the wall down since every screw on the "wall" was unscrewed. And there's not even a window, so it's always dark and hot in summer. No airconditioning, except a very loud fan device. I didn't cook at all so I don't have an opinion on that. This is my best bargain in Sofia and the best one can probably get for the required price. This is a high standard guest apartment that has a separate bedroom and a wonderful bed with healthy sleeping pillows & Dressing table Cabinets and dressers of drawers throughout the apartment, sofa in the living room and extra bed, dining table... fully equipped kitchen, large refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster, oven, cooking utensils and cutlery. Spacious windows in almost the entire apartment and the surrounding landscape is green, calm and very quiet. Complete privacy. In the bath a Jacuzzi and a hot water shower properly .. Of course a TV and WiFi .. The whole unit is heated by central heating. There is a restaurant in the area and the only small downside is that there is no reception on site and the service is not available all the time, but with such conditions not really needed except in emergencies and the chance is so minimal. Remote handling is done with professionalism and agility. This is my place and I will always look for...
