Hotel Acropolis — Hotel in Varna

Staff were very friendly and helpful particularly Nadja. Location was great for the beach, port, train station, Sea Garden and city centre. I liked the option to sit outside the room although this meant there was not much privacy if the hotel had been busy. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was huge and well equipped. TV and heating/air conditioning worked well once I worked out how to use them. ||||Breakfast was the same every morning-I think it was referred to as a Swedish Breakfast. I was immediately put off by the sign saying only one cup of coffee allowed for breakfast. There was also a sign saying water was free for breakfast but at no other time. Staff were eager to warm crossaints, pancakes or cheese pasties. Some cheese pasties included spinach but were not always available. I only saw one small crossaints during the five night stay. A bowl of cereal was set out but I am unsure you were allowed two. Fruit juice was orange squash. Bread did not appear fresh so I tended to toast it. There was a choice of two jams. The other option was small portions of cheese or unappealing processed meat with tomato...

we loved our stay in this lovely hotel only 1 min from the beach and closed from the city centre! we stayed two nights there and felt at home!||The staff was extremely friendly and there was a free garage for our rental car. All the rooms have a private entrance and a little table with chairs outside which is lovely in the warm evening temperatures of Bulgaria (we stayed end of september). There were tons of little supermarkets around and the cleaning lady even took us to a yummy bakery!!!||||The room was big, simple yet very confortable. there was a little fridge and at night, there are tons of lovely cool trendy bars on the beach. The bathroom was very big. There was no safe but we felt it was very safe and could leave our valuables in the room no problems. Bulgaria felt like a very safe country in all the cities we stayed in. ||||Not too far from the hotel there was a lovely turkish restaurant. The hotel is only 15 min walk away from a gorgeous church with golden domes and only 5 minutes from old roman ruins.||Highly...

We stayed at this lovely hotel at our business visit to Varna. We didn't expect anything special as our experience with hotel in Europe has been disastrous. ||||I can't emphasise enough how pleasantly surprised we were. ||||The locations is extremely convenient as it is around 3 minutes from the sea side garden and the beach where we could have a drink after we finished with our business maters. In addition the hotel is 10 minutes away from the centre of city which was initially the main reason why we had picked it up. ||||Our room was literally large, well cleaned and the furniture seemed to be new. Further, the bathroom was at least like 4 star hotel.
