If you disagree, that is your opinion. Hope this helps families traveling into Battambang, Cambodia. 🙏 Be aware that this hotel has bed bugs. My family stayed in room 531 end of May early June 2025. My son was bitten by these bugs during the night on both his arms and upper back. He was so exhausted, he did not noticed until the morning. There were two towels that had light black and lipstick stains that we believe could have been laundry and cleaned, but we were charged $15 per towel, $30 for two, very ridiculous as generic towels do not cost $15 for one. We have stayed at this same hotel in June/July 2024 with no issues. This trip to the same hotel had some negative impact on our future stay. We did not have enough towels, no hair dryer, not enough or no additional bathroom essentials, and most of all the bed bugs in the room, which is what prompted me to write this review. I usually try to give a fair review of hotels and restaurants in my home country, Cambodia, but the towel incident was very outrageous. Hopefully, management will get the bed bugs resolved and please make sure each rooms has enough of the basic hotel essentials. Understood hotel is outdated but bed bugs could be...
Read moreThe hotel service was excellent but the Sangke Spa (massage) is a scam. And they promote the spa by the reception, in the rooms. I had the feeling that the boss there sent a random lady to me and told her to swing her hands on my body up and down. She had no idea to handle the stones, they were too hot, she kept throwing them away when it got too hot for her hands... No technique, no pressing, very dissappointing. Maybe during the day they have a real therapist, but at 9 pm you probably get the cleaning lady instead. Also the massage rooms look terrible and not hygienic, old dirty walls, old leather massage tables with no sheet, cushion or towel. Not any decorations at all, no nice smell, no cosyness and definitely not the massage room presented in the photos on the facebook page. Interesting thing, all the good reviews you got so far are from people living in Battambang, that...
Read moreStayed only for one night as it was a quick stop to Battambang. ||||Hotel is pretty dated, like its stuck in the 80s/90s. No power outlets beside the bed. The outlet closest to the bed(on the counter beside the kettle) did not work, I charged my phone in the bathroom, until I found another outlet under the dresser. The airconditioning was abit weak even at the lowest temperature. An old tv with alot of channels but the reception is bad so you're watching shows with alot of static. When it rains(which it did), there's no signal so nothing to watch in the end. Power went out twice. Assumed it was the technician doing work and power tripped. ||||Breakfast was a buffet but average at best. ||||The front desk staff could have been a little more friendlier. Not much smiling. ||||If you just need a place to sleep, this place will do. Otherwise, best to find...
