Cafe Eden — Restaurant in Battambang

We went there today about lunchtime to check the menu which looked good , so we came back for dinner , Saturday night at 7.30 pm and we are the only 2 people in the place ...the service was so bad and some of the food was horrible , the young people running the place that night had friends there so all they did was laugh and be loud and there was NO service at all , at lunchtime there were some older staff there so I'd gather that's the boss , I'm so sorry for him that his business goes down the toilet at night if hes not around , I actually had to yell out loudly to them to get some service ( and I mean loudly) we just wanted the bill to leave , I checked the bill and they charged us twice for one of our dishes !!! If you want a lovely amazing dinner then go to Coconut Lyly , we had that the night before and the food and family service was excellent , so maybe if you have to eat at Cafe Eden go when the boss is there cause I would think you'd get better service ( cause any service...

worth the price. burger nicely cooked, and they kept the lettuce/tomato/onion to the side so it would be fresh when I got home😇. fries were my favorite, lightly battered. very filling, I could not finish it all. they use biodegradeable bag and container. I usually eat "western food" about once a month and this was really good. waitress super nice. dining area was clean and had good variety of small and large tables. tried their onion rings, wow is not a side dish was main meal size to me. also got piña smoothie. happy staff here🙏🥰 had a few other dishes, all cooked to perfection. *3 years later, I moved back from phnom penh, and the food and service here is still 5stars. The food was good but there is no sense of customer service. The waiter that took our order was different from the one that brought our food, but when it was given to the wrong person she did not apologize and instead blame the customer. Whenever we asked for something and it was not brought out we would follow up with a waiter we saw and she would say that she didn’t know as we didn’t ask her instead of helping us. Then when we thought our food was missing the kitchen staff came out to look at the food that was given to wrong person and didn’t apologized for the mix up.
