We booked the place as it used to be my favorite walking district in town. The place changed name but everything looks good almost the same as it was left off 5years ago.
Trip.com tried to call me they couldn't contact the hotel. Somehow I found the way to call them directly on their facebook page contact number.
The staffs are so nice, I give them direction to confirm their e-mail from my booking as trip.com membership plate for experience explorer, I deserve to be changing hotel if can't be contact either by the provider or a third party. After they confirm that e-mail, my booking get confirmed. Trip.com call me again, then I confirm I will be happy to stay there.
Arriving from a trip that I had sleepless for the last one month, my room was incredible. I checked in run my shower, then fill in hot bath for later. After sitting in the room unpacked for awhile order my fruit and drink from the mall, I get back into my room the aircon wasn't working at all. They tried to fix it for me, I end up got upgrade into a bigger room and has more space than I need.
I slept so well, the bed was so nice. It is very appreciated all my patience and great communication with the staffs and fast forward support.
I decided to extended my stay, call them directly about the price of the same room, it is almost twice my first booking/night which is very understandable it is wat bigger room. I told them I can get it a little discount they agree but still the price is quite more expensive than I can get online booking. They told me they are very happy if I can get a better deal than booking directly please just let them know when I get booking confirm they will hold the room for me this coming extra night. So I did.
Something I wish it could be better is to provide extra extension cord for electronic device plug. It is not enough plug for remote working people and it need to be fixed for some plug its not working. Some light not all work too.
Sound proof is not as great for light sleeper. I'm kind of in between.
It very impressive place to be and nice people to talk to. ❤️ this my heart so filling and resting and full of energy before going on extra holiday in the future.
Hopefully return some more weekend spending resting night here in the...
Read moreUnusually for me I didn't do a lot of pre-reading of Google reviews, I just wanted somewhere for a few days, close to the centre before heading of to Siem Reap, just a base form which to a little discovering. The other reviewers have it right, you get the feeling they are not bothered by ratings. It looks like the design would have impressed when new, but everything feels tired and damp. I had to ask them to change the pillows (not the cases) as they were filthy, I mean really. They did that quick enough. My room was at the back of the hotel, the window looked out onto a wall and a tiny space covered with a patch of old astroturf underneath a metal grill, it felt like a damp basement and smelled like one. Other than that the room was 'ok', good work bench. Limited hanging space, 2 hangers, very slippery marble bathroom floor (why? why?), good shower pressure. The in-room charges were silly, a Cambodia beer was 3USD, crazy, same as the water. No-one will buy at that price so they were probably very old. Good points: staff were lovely and helpful, directions etc. Location fantastic; a short walk to Bassac Lane and not too far to Central Market/Railway Station...
Read moreThe rooms are very good and location close to bassac lane also very good. There are those small nagging things which get you At checkin make sure to have your documents in order - passport, visa The doors have fancy locks, but they only work with the key and you will need short training course for that. Hot water is solar system, it will take a few minutes for hot water to flow, this is all fine, but to realize you need to read notice on the wall of the shower - kinda late when you are standing there naked and ready for wash. The shower heads are installed very high up and likely impossible for housekeeping or anyone else to clean and redirect. Consequently you get the shower spurting in various angles instead of...
