I recently had the opportunity to visit the Statue of Shihanouk Nordom, and I must say that it was an unforgettable experience. The statue is truly a remarkable work of art, and the attention to detail is simply stunning. A good spot to take a picture with green surrounding in Phnom Penh city center. The statue itself is located in a public space, surrounded by neat and tidy city garden, just next to the Independent Monument. Near this Statue of King Father Norodom Sihanouk there is Indonesian Embassy and Embassy of Republic Democratic of Korea (North Korea), Cambodia - Vietnam Friendship Garden, Nagaworld etc. People usually also do the morning and afternoon jog at this city garden.

I always be there whenever I am not in mood. I don't know why I always release my stress there. Just being there for 30 minutes, it could help me alot. Moreover, I can enjoy jogging around the park. This place is one of a must place to visit in Phnom Penh. The memorial place of our Grandfather king, highest majesty, respectful king in this century. I miss him!

Worth seeing if you are nearby the royal palace or seeing the independence monument anyway. Very grand statue overlooking a relatively sparse park with mostly grass and walkways. Some people nearby jogging or riding a skateboard. Notices to be respectful at this park. Quick visit, nice to walk in green area but could be missed if you don’t have time.

This is such an honorable memorial in a great park where you can spend time in the evening or in the morning jogging around. Located just meters east of the Independence Monument, this is a nice place to spend time with your family. The statue reminds us of our great king. Also, it’s a nice addition to the Phnom Penh landscape.
