My stay was ok. The owner/manager has a baby which was sweet but when the family/staff gather for meals or get togethers it gets very loud and distracting in the only common area. The location is excellent and the street very quaint and quiet. Three days in a row I had to keep asking for toilet paper as they supplied one roll for 2 dorms (10 people!). Very disappointing. The owner/manager told another guest - before he paid for his accomodation - that YES there was wifi. The wifi had been down for a whole day - he lied - and he should have refunded and apologised. He did neither. Another guest complained that a group of men who WEREN'T staying in her mixed dorm were using the deck/room to smoke weed and drink beer! The owner/mgr told her to tell them to get out. WTF!! When there is a problem he pretends not to hear you and sometimes he was overly friendly and the next - completely ignored you. Sadly, it seems the Kampuchean way...
Read moreI Bed hostel is situated approx 5 minutes walk from the main streets of Siem Reap (Pub st etc). It's a modern new hostel, we stayed in a 4 bed mixed dorm with aircon. The rooms have high ceilings and the bunks are spacious, each with their own power points and lamps.||Not bad value at $6 US per night per person. The owner was very accommodating organising a tuk tuk for Ankor Wat and helping out with anything we required and there is a restaurant on site that provides breakfast lunch and dinner. Nice easy going atmosphere, I had to remind the owner several times that I still owed him money :) ||I'd definitely recommend I BED as a comfortable budget...

The toilets on the top floor are way over than the middle or bottom floor. It was a short walk to the main streets, and over all a good stay. We...
