Le water villa — Hotel in Siem Reap

Good location in Siem Reap within walking distance of the main restaurant/bar area and markets. Located on a quiet street, around 20 meters off a main road we didn't have any noise disturbance despite being on the front of the hotel.

The staff were incredibly professional, upon arrival we had a great check-in experience with information about the hotel, the local area and local tours available.

Breakfast was included in our booking and was brilliant, a choice of French toast, fruit and yoghurt, eggs or eggs and bacon all served with warm bread, butter and jam with a choice of tea or coffee and a huge vessel of iced tea. It was served in the Japanese restaurant next door.

Our room was pretty spacious, clean, the air-conditioning worked great and the Wi-fi was excellent too.

The staff at the desk helped us book "the big tour" with a guide, helped us hire bicycles, (that were delivered to the hotel and collected once we'd finished), and helped us arrange a sunrise visit to Angkor Wat, we didn't pay a great premium for any of these either. We felt it was worth doing at the hotel to ensure we had a good experience.

Some minor concerns, although not the fault of the hotel directly, I feel it's important to note.

We took the "big" tour option with a guide where there is a stop for lunch and we were taken to a restaurant that, although had great food, was really, really expensive. I can only assume the guide makes commission off this and having worked in the industry I know it's common, but it was still a frustrating extra cost on top of the tour itself.

There also wasn't anywhere to refill our drinking water, although fresh bottles were available. We're trying to reduce our plastic usage.

Again, these are minor gripes and we can't recommend this...

We loved our stay at Le Water Villa, the hotel is very central, it’s very walkable around and you can find excellent restaurants and cool cafes within 50m! They are located in a calm and quiet street but still it’s 5min walk to go to pub street ! The mattress is very comfortable and the room is functional (A/C, hot water, amenities…) The staff is very dedicated to guests, very welcoming, smiling, helpful, such a good team! Thank you to Sovat, Samnant, Somnang, Patrick who made our stay very enjoyable! Since the hotel is small they really offer a personalized service 😊 Also they have a restaurant with lot of choice for breakfast, you can order room service And you can organize your tours, transfers to other cities directly at the hotel, and you can pay by credit card 👍 Honestly for the price, so far it’s the best hotel we have visited during our Southest Asia tour because they have the best hospitality and it’s a super good value...

I had the pleasure of staying at Le Water Villa recently and I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for an incredible stay. The hotel's location is simply unbeatable. It's situated 5 mins walk away from the famous Pub Street. Whether I was exploring the historic landmarks (Angkor Wat & etc) or enjoying the vibrant nightlife, I always felt like I was in the perfect spot. What truly stood out during my stay was the level of service provided by the hotel staff. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone was friendly, attentive, and eager to assist with any requests or questions I had.
