I recently had the opportunity to stay at this, and I wanted to share my experience. Overall, it's a decent place to stay, but there are areas where improvements can be made, particularly in the facilities.
Pros: Friendly Staff: The hotel staff were welcoming and always ready to assist, which made the stay more pleasant.
Cleanliness: The rooms and common areas were well-maintained and clean, which is essential for a comfortable stay.
Location: The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transportation.
Cons (Facility Improvements Needed): Outdated Decor: The hotel's interior felt a bit outdated. A fresh and modern renovation could significantly improve the ambiance.
Limited Amenities: Enhancing these amenities would provide guests with more options for leisure and relaxation.
Wi-Fi Connectivity: A stronger and more reliable Wi-Fi connection is crucial for business travelers.
Soundproofing: The soundproofing between rooms was not the best. This made it a bit noisy at times, affecting the overall comfort.
In conclusion, this Hotel is a budget-friendly option, but there's definite room for improvement, especially in updating the facilities. With a little attention to these areas, it could elevate the guest experience and potentially warrant a higher rating...
Read moreSo far a mixed bunch... while the room is nice enough, the water pressure in the shower is pretty much non-existent, which becomes a lot more important after a day trekking round temples in the heat and dust! There is only one option for breakfast, a croissant, half a toasted baguette, butter, jam, some fruit and tea or coffee. It is only 2.5 dollars though, so value is ok if you like that combination! Pool is small, and cold. It doesn't appear to heat in the sun as there are trees all round providing shade. But, after the affore mentioned trekking, a dip in a cold pool is quite refreshing! The hotel requests you take your shoes off on entering the hotel, although don't appear to be particularly strict on this. Whilst most hotels these days have an electronic safe, this hotel has lock boxes with padlock attached. The key has no key ring which was helpful! No one has stolen my passport yet though, so it appears to be safe! Not too much else to mention other than when you are coming back of an evening, make sure you are certain where to go, as the signage does not show up well when walking along the street. I walked straight passed it the first time. Fairly close proximity to pub street if that is your thing. Plenty of bars/restaurants/spas/massage parlours on sok san road within very easy walking distance too. Here endeth...
Read moreRude staff, they almost never say hello when greeted by guests. We took some laundry to them and the front desk staff postponed 3 times until they brought them washed and dried. And this was after i got angry and i told them to do their job.(we paid for the clothing of course) They don't seem to understant they live off tourists. Apparently COVID did not thought them to value tourists. Also, photos presented on booking do not reflect the reality of the property, small front yard and swimming pool. Also i recommend breakfast to be served somewhere else their prices are double then most restaurant in Siem Reap. Very old room, outdated and unkept, bathroom very dark and covered in mould. The AC does not have a remote, so temperature can't be changed. Towels were ripped apart in the corners. Also they have a rule for guests to take their shoes off when in the hotel and left at the entrance. But obviously the floor is very dusty and not very clean. Also, they advertise free pick-up for guests and of course it's a lie. I do not recommend...
