Golden Temple Villa — Hotel in Siem Reap

Visited in February 2025 as a couple. WOW!!!! What a pleasant surprise from our arrival until we left. We were greeted warmly by the front desk and were offered a cold towel, refreshments and breakfast, as we were a very early arrival. My husband and I, are not high maintenance journeyers, who have travelled extensively, and are always pleasantly surprised when the staff (especially: Mr. Kol-Manager, Ms. Mon- assistant Manager and will make a great Manager, Ju, Kianthiea, Sotha) were all so very welcoming, informative and who genuinely enjoyed engaging in daily conversations with their guests. Likewise, we in turn, enjoyed our conversations with them, especially with Mr. Kol and Ms. Mon. These staff members are what makes this boutique hotel what it is. I would also like to mention that the room a fair size, clean with a very comfortable king sized bed and a beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was provided and we had also enjoyed the set Western and Cambodian dinner at the hotel. The dining staff were very attentive and always provided top notched service. This boutique hotel provided airport transfers for a fee, of which we took advantage of. Mr. Cheat was our driver, a personable man, so we requested him to be our driver on excursions booked via the hotel. The hotel also provides Spa services which I took advantage of. Had the following on different days - a 2 hr body scrub, wrapped and massage, Indian head massage and full body oil massage, they were all heavenly and professionally done! This boutique hotel is set in from the road (15 meters with a security guard at the entrance), so was quiet at night but very walkable (8 minutes) to Pub Street, day market and the Riverside night market with many eating places along the way. For our visit to Angkor Wat temple, we opted for a tour guide who was Mr. Phirum, he was very knowledgeable, personable and who truly loved his profession. A huge “Arkun” again to the staff and for providing Mr. Cheat as our driver, for making our visit to Siem Reap such a memorable and an unforgettable experience. It was sad for us to say goodbye.

All staff gave me us a perfect holiday in Siem Reap||Before I booked our package Tinn has given me lots of information n advice. I noticed he responded to me even at late hours. His response gives me very good impression of the hotel ||when we arrived at Siem Reap airport our baggage was broken. It took us more than 30 mins to fix the baggage claim while once we arrived at the airport exit the driver Muni came to greet us. Our package included two day trips. We really appreciate Muni’s safe n smooth drive. Every time when we got back to the car Muni will provide us cold water n towel. ||The tour guide Sinit. Besides his full knowledge on Angkor Wat he is an excellent photographer. He took more than 100 photos for us within two days. If u love taking photos you must book him when u go to Siem Reap. He knows very well which spot is the best for taking photos ||Engchoue a beautiful young lady who speaks very good English. I will never forget her smile ||Thanks to Dara the restaurant manager who looked after us for meals including the boat n rice field one. He always makes sure we have the best services all the time ||We left some unopened bottle water in the room when we checked out. One of the staff rushed to our car as she thought we forgot. ||My last but most sincere thanks to ALL the staff at Golden Temple Villa. As I told the staff I will definitely go back...

My partner and I had the pleasure to stay at Golden Temple Villa and we had an awesome stay! I can highly recommend this hotel to everyone! The location is excellent, a little tucked away and super quiet. There were always tuk tuks available to drive us around. And the pool was amazing!!!

FOOD: the staff of the restaurant is super friendly and the breakfast is awesome. My partner was a big fan of the coffee and he ordered maybe too many 😅. And if you’re a vegan or vegetarian like us: there’s plenty of food at breakfast to enjoy! There’s even a separate vegetarian menu!!!! 😊

ROOMS: the rooms are modern, extremely clean, spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom is fantastic. Without a doubt the best shower I have had since my travels! And above all it all looks gorgeous 😍

STAFF: the best part of our stay was without a doubt the staff. Everyone was so kind and friendly. We were welcomed with a nice drink and some nuts. We also received a little note with small things to say in Khmer. And I have to say I was so impressed by the skills of the staff, especially Ren who remembered my name correctly!! Which is not easy to pronounce at all 😄 I also want to mention Vakhim for the nice drinks he made for us and Vitou for the kind service!!
