We stayed here for our anniversary this weekend and we were impressed from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. We were greeted by a bottle of champagne and a happy anniversary note. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The bed was huge and comfortable. The bath was super long and the shower was huge with two sinks. There was a really nice mini kitchen with a stove, full sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher and all the basic kitchen essentials. The living room had a pull out sofa and a fireplace. The rooms had huge ceilings and a washer and dryer in our suite. They were super clean and modern. We had a lovely view of the mountains and a cute balcony with a bbq. It would be lovely in the summer to bbq on the balcony looking at the mountains. It has heated underground parking which is a necessity in the winter here. The outdoor pool and hot tub was so lovely to use in the freezing winter months. The pool was really warm and the hot tub was steaming hot. The location is perfect. It is a very short drive to Main Street. There are two cafes in the hotel itself. We didn’t try them but they looked lovely. We used the clique mystery deal and we were so excited to try this hotel out. We will DEFINITELY stay here again and recommend it to everyone! We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend away.

As a part of our 40th Anniversary Trip to the Canadian Rockies, my wife and I planned four nights in Canmore. After looking over the options I chose Stoneridge for its positive ratings and reviews. I must say, we were NOT disappointed! Starting with Tim (who redefined excellent customer service!) and Eddie, our stay was fantastic. When we entered the room for the first time there was a bottle of champagne chilling with two glasses and a card. So thoughtful! The room was amazing (although I would love to figure out how to get a balcony with a mountain view 😉), and the in-room washer and dryer was a big help after two weeks of driving. Oh, the 4-star rating for location is just due to the fact that it's not right downtown. If you're willing to hoof it there is a beautiful trail with partial boardwalk that will get you downtown in a mile. No need to try and find a place to park. Thanks again for the anniversary memories!

I had a wounderful stay at the Stoneridge. The staff and room service were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean with very comfortable beds. Absolutely stunning view of the Three Sisters Mountain and the outdoor heated pool and hot tub was amazing. Its a quick 1 min walk to the pool and hot tub, excellent in the summer and in winter. You might get alittle chilly but in a matter of seconds you would be sitting in a hot tub with a great view and an wounderful environment. Underground parking was great, especially in the winter. The one thing I wish that was better were the robes. They were a one size fit all and the material was very thin so we did get alittle chilly walking to the pool and back but thats just me being alittle picky. Overall it was a excellent experience, I definitely would recommend visiting and I would definitely return.

I was originally excited to stay in this hotel until I checked into my room. I originally booked a king suite as I wanted a room with a large balcony. Upon check in I was told that my room was upgraded. Everyone loves a free upgrade right? Not in this case.

As you can see in my photo the hallway was a complete construction zone and I was not informed about this upon check in with 2 different front desk employees. I then asked the front desk if I could possibly move rooms to the one I had originally booked and was told someone will look into it and let me know. I hear nothing then after checkout I emailed the manager hoping she would rectify the situation and I was wrong. All I got from the manager was an apology. If you’re looking for a room costing $1000 for a weekend and want a construction zone at your door and in the hallway then stay here. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone to stay I. This hotel. No discount was offered at all which is quite sad because some sort of discount would’ve persuaded me to stay here again.

My last response to the manager is below and has been since ignored. Seems as if this hotel cares more about making money than keeping their guests happy. I would’ve expected a different room or the room I originally booked if I was unhappy with the state of the hallway.

As I understand the pipe burst was an uncontrollable circumstance your front end staff still didn't communicate to the guests upon check in this was happening, I do not consider an upgrade of a room to have construction going on in the hallway. I did not need a 2 bedroom suite as it was only myself and my boyfriend in the room. It was early enough upon my check in to offer me the original room I booked, which I asked for and nothing happened and you didn't offer any sort of discount or refund for this inconvenience which shows me that you do not respect the guests feedback to resolve the issue. I am sorry but just an apology for this inconvenience isn't sufficient on my end. Spending almost $1000 to stay in your hotel for a weekend I do not expect to view a construction zone in the hallway of my room. If I was given the option to stay in the room I booked or in the room I was given I would've immediately chose the room I originally booked.

As for you saying that you hope my stay was comfortable as that was one of your preferred rooms, I disagree. The balcony was very small compared to what I was expecting as I booked the king suite which showed a larger balcony area and our room also faced the main road which had a lot of traffic noise in the room. Yes, the room was beautiful but I would not recommend your hotel based on your previous response as I've had much better experiences and accommodations at another hotel.

Response to owner, see my attached email NOT threatening you all all, I emailed you first to give you a chance to fix the issue to which you ignored...

We chose this hotel to house our wedding party & guests. I am glad we booked almost a year in advance as the price more than doubled 10 days before the wedding. The rooms are very spacious, gorgeously done. Very clean, bathrooms were updated and spotless. Kitchens are nice, with lovely woodwork and the colours inside accent eachother. LOVE the fireplace. The shower and bath tubs are massive! Love the layout of our rooms (412, 306 and 210). It made it very easy to have multiple guests in the room to get ready. We had no issues with anything at all. Everything was easy to use. The bedding and bed are incredibly comfortable. We were just upset that the pool and hot tub is closed at 10 because we could never seem to make it there before it closed, after a weekend of running around that is all we wanted to do. We ended up asking for a late check out so we could at least go for an hour in the morning to finally use the hot tub. I think that they should at least have it open until 11. It also kind of was a pain that that a late check out was only 1130 AM. I will say that the floors seem to be not very well insulated, as sometimes you can hear a lot of stunning above you (kids?). The Stoneridge team did go above and beyond to write us cute notes in our rooms congratulating us and they had a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us upon check-in, in our room! So that was amazing for them to do for us. Underground parking was awesome to have but tight as we all had trucks, so we had to double park so we could get out. Everyone working at the hotel is very easy to speak to and wonderful to deal with. We were a wedding party that was checking into each other’s rooms without the room owner being there yet, and they were very accommodating and knew we were on a schedule. I would say the location is OK, but if you’re faced along the road, you hear a lot of traffic if your window is open and all you see out your window is a dealership and various businesses, somewhat blocking the beautiful view Black Dog Cafe has incredible food and the ladies working there are just fantastic. I went there twice, and I was very grateful for them. They have really a lot of menu options, and the food there is very fresh and flavourful. Hot tub is great and has nice...

We booked this resort 6 months ahead of time, which was a good idea because as it got closer to our travel date the prices significantly increased. Stoneridge is about a 15-20 minute walk from downtown Canmore but we didn’t mind it at all. I looked at where it was on the map before booking and was okay with it being more on the edge of town. The path near the resort was wooded and so pleasant. We booked a one bedroom and our son slept on the pull out couch. It was nice for us to have separate spaces. The suite was clean and roomy enough. We didn’t really use the kitchen much but it appeared to have everything you would need. The bathroom was spacious and had a large shower and separate bathtub (which ended up being good for drying all the swimsuits and towels!). The bedroom had a very comfortable bed, pillows and linens. The room was very dark while we slept which was so nice. I asked for a fan before we arrived and they had a rotating fan waiting for us in the room upon arrival. We used it while sleeping because we like the white noise and the breeze. Honestly, this was the most comfortable hotel/resort for sleeping I have ever stayed in. I got the best sleep our 3 nights here. We used both the pool and hot tub and enjoyed it even though we don’t typically swim in cold temperatures where we are from. The pool was heated enough and once you moved into the hot tub it was definitely warm enough. My only complaint was there were some people there a few times swearing very loudly and were intoxicated which we didn’t really want our 7 year old exposed to. Despite a few inappropriate guests, we (especially our son) loved the pool and hot tub for after days out hiking and sightseeing. It was also open late which was welcomed so we didn’t have to rush back to use it. Despite us booking for 3 people, housekeeping kept giving us towels for just 2 people so we had to keep asking for extra towels to shower and for the pool. Other than that, our stay was wonderful. I would book a room here again and not even look at another accommodation. I would recommend this to others as well, especially if you have kids and...
