I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bridgette Bar, and I must say, it was a delightful culinary experience. This restaurant offers a stylish and cozy ambiance, perfect for a casual lunch with family. However, what truly sets Bridgette Bar apart is their exceptional food and cocktails.
Crab Toast: The Crab Toast was a true standout. The combination of sweet crab meat, succulent shrimp, and the delicate aroma of saffron mousse was a heavenly delight. The toast itself was perfectly crisp, providing a satisfying crunch to balance the creamy mousse. This appetizer is a must-try for seafood lovers.
Crispy Smashed Potatoes: The Crispy Smashed Potatoes were a revelation. Each bite offered a delightful contrast of textures - the potatoes were crispy on the outside and wonderfully tender on the inside. The rich and smoky flavour of the Charred Shallot Aioli elevated the dish, and the addition of Manchego cheese and spring onions added a burst of savoury freshness.
Margherita Pizza: This Pizza was a perfect example of simplicity done right. The thin and chewy crust provided a fantastic base for the classic trio of tomato, mozzarella, and basil. The flavours were well-balanced, and the use of fresh basil added a vibrant touch to the overall taste. It's a timeless favourite for good reason.
Rigatoni: The Rigatoni dish was the epitome of luxury and indulgence. The rich and creamy Parmesan sauce combined with the earthy aroma of truffled mushrooms made for an unforgettable pasta experience. The shaved black truffle on top added a layer of complexity and opulence that elevated the dish to new heights.
In conclusion, Bridgette Bar is a true gem in the culinary scene, offering a diverse range of dishes that cater to different palates. The quality of ingredients and the skillful execution of their signature dishes make this restaurant a must-visit for food enthusiasts. Overall dining experience, making it an excellent choice for any occasion. I highly recommend Bridgette Bar to anyone looking for a memorable and delectable...

Bridgette Bar in Canmore, located at 1030 Spring Creek Drive, is a standout dining experience that blends modern culinary creativity with nostalgic charm. We were warmly welcomed and quickly seated on the heated, enclosed patio, which offered a perfect balance of comfort and style. At the center of the space was a sleek indoor fire feature, surrounded by 8 to 10 inviting chairs—ideal for gathering, unwinding, and soaking in the ambiance.
Our server Renee provided excellent care—knowledgeable, attentive, and effortlessly warm. From start to finish, she made sure everything felt seamless.
We kicked things off with the Roasted Curry-Spiced Cashews (check the menu for their full, flavorful description)—a bold, crunchy starter that whetted the appetite. The Eggplant Fries, crispy and golden, paired wonderfully with a special house dipping sauce that was rich, creamy, and just tangy enough to cut through the fried goodness.
Our Chicken Sausage Pizza was another highlight—topped generously and accompanied by a side of chili honey that added a delicious sweet-spicy edge. The crust was the perfect combination of crispy and chewy, making every bite a satisfying one. We also ordered the Crispy Brussels Sprouts (menu description recommended), which were charred just right and packed with umami flavor.
But what truly elevated the entire evening was the soundtrack of 80s and 90s hits playing softly in the background. From classic rock riffs to smooth synth beats and familiar vocals from our youth, the music added a layer of joyful nostalgia that perfectly complemented the warm lighting, firelit patio, and great food. It created a laid-back, feel-good vibe that turned dinner into a full experience.
Whether you're looking for après-ski snacks, a stylish date night, or a spot to reconnect with friends over elevated comfort food and throwback tunes, Bridgette Bar Canmore hits all the right notes.

Read moreWe came here last night for my birthday dinner. Our evening began with a beautiful surprise and delight from seeing a birthday card signed by the staff when being brought to the table. This simple little gesture set the tone for our entire dining experience.
Our waiter Jacob was super attentive and was always in top of our orders despite a busy Friday night at the restaurant. We also made his life easier by knowing what we wanted by reading through the drink, food and dessert menus online beforehand. We have always read the menus ahead of time if we knew where we were going. Every single one of our drinks and food orders was unforgettably delicious last night.
My husband had the Canmore Brewing Highline Largered Blonde and I opted for the Alpenglow Sour cocktail with rye whiskey. Both were light but stimulating for our taste buds to accommodate what was to come.
Our eggplant fries were super crispy on the outside. The eggplant inside was warm and soft but not mushy at all. The spices of the coating was just right and not over powering. The yogurt dip helped bring all the flavours together.
Our shared 24 oz T-bone steak and green beans came together. The steak was grilled perfectly medium rare. It has a good amount of fat and the meat was very tender as well. It was flavourful enough that my husband didn’t even use the peppercorn sauce served on the side. The green beans were served chilled and its crispiness was actually perfectly paired with the steak.
Our dinner was capped off with a huge banana pie with similar ingredients to a banoffee pie. It came with a sparkler, of course, for my birthday.
The restaurant is deep in a quiet residential neighbourhood about a 20-minutes pleasant walk along the river from downtown. While the outside of the building is unassuming, the decor was modern, inviting and plush all at...
