Kitchener Motel — Hotel in Kitchener

I want to give then ZERO stars. I urge you to never rent a room in this motel, not because of the accommodations or location but simply because the owners are completely disrespectful, rude, judgemental and should be ashamed of the way they treated me, my partner and our friends. Within 10 minutes of being there I got a refund and left. After paying for the room, our friends pulled up, hoping to also get a room, but they were immediately baraided, the owner pulled up beside his car and started aggressively honking his horn, asking him if he has a reservation, before he even had the chance to get into the lobby. The phone in my room rang, it was the manager yelling at me, saying they had a zero guest policy. My "guest" was a friend who had gotten out of the same car that was cornered, with the owner honking and screaming at him. He COULD have been a CUSTOMER but they did not give any of them a chance before they treated them like criminals. They should be ashamed of themselves. Worst motel/hotel...

Just there for 1 night and needed something fairly cheap and in a central location.We paid $66...not bad at all. Upon first impressions...um..not great. The grounds around the hotel were unkept, some garbage around and under the big oak tree was a 'charming' seating area with a broken picnic table and a couple of broken office chairs. There were beautiful plants and pots around in front of the rooms and the immediate area of the rooms were tidy. The main office...EESHK and yikes! Very dirty and far from pleasant smelling. The room was actually quite nice. The furnishings were nice and everything looked very clean...just dont look in the corners. Definitely need to pay closer attention to window sills and corners. New air conditioning was great. Not a family friendly place as I was hit on in the parking lot, asked to 'party' and asked if I was there alone by stoner staying at the hotel. Got a room because we went to Oktoberfest and we didn’t want to drive. I put down $100 deposit and it cost 115 for the room. To find out that the person that was in my room walked out the door naked they are saying. I don’t get my deposit back because of it. The lady seen me at 3 am and didn’t say anything when the Uber driver dropped off the food. One person yelled out the door and said be quit and we were after that. Should have known that they were going to keep my deposit because they probably don’t get enough money for the people that live there. Need to make it up some how. Should have just sleep in my car in the parking lot at Tim Hortons like we were going to do.

When I dropped off the key they never said anything to be about any of this. Guess you learn not to stay at a motel that will keep your money...
