Bingemans — Attraction in Kitchener

Bingemans was a beautiful outdoor venue and staff who go beyond the call of duty. It was a sparkling crisp autumn day and the sun could not shine any brighter. Rows of chairs and guests filled the alcove. It was the perfect day for a wedding. At the back of the assembly my daughter stepped out in her elegant wedding gown white flowing chiffon strapless plunging neckline with sparkling jeweled bodice. Her burnett hair was swept up in a simple coiff with a spray of flowers and tiny rhinstones on each side a petite veil flowing from the back whilst one delicate curl framed her pretty face. Her smile could melt crowds and the wooden arches bowed in unison as she seemed to skip up the isle on her fathers arm. The girls stood in burgundy gowns on the dark wooden steps of the outdoor gazebo. Her handsome groom in his tux and his grooms men lined the other side in a salutation of chivalric honour stong and proud to witness this moment. The wooden stairs framed with large floral pots and dark colour provided a cascade of contrasting beauty and handsomeness. On one side burgundy in contrast to the mens black and white. The music played people gasped at the beauty of the bride and her entourage. The leaves with their many coats of colour the rich dark gazebo setting and the lovely set up made Bingemans a delightful venue for an outdoor wedding. The bride reached her groom tall, handsome, blond hair, and sparkling blue eyes in a dark black tux. His smile spread from ear to ear as he took his bride and escorted her up the stairs to face the officiant and proceed with the wedding ceremony. The brides gown flowed down the stairs and completed the perfect picture. Off to the side a small table was set with a bright white table cloth where the bride and groom signed the registrar. Finally at the end of the ceremony the groom kissed the bride and the crowd clapped as the new husband and wife were introduced. The music played and the bridal party and parents proceeded out under the cathedral of Gods heaven sun shining coloured leaves whispering their congratulations in unison. It was a beautiful ceremony never to forget. The pictures proceeded taken by my son an excellent new grad in cinematography. After the guest pictures were taken he moved to bridges in the park. During the picture taking a gorgeous flourite bracelet fell off my daughters wrist. I had made this special gift for her wedding day and made the mistake of not adding a safety clasp to the magnetic closure. Beyond the call of duty a wonderful staff member went back and searched the site for us finding it in the grass. I was so elated that someone would care enough to look for this special gift . We camped at Bingemans last year on Labour Day weekend and our family really enjoyed all the amenities. We stayed in a container cabin, enjoyed daily trips to the waterpark, bowling, arcade and mini putt. Because we had such a positive experience we decided to go again this year on Civic Holiday weekend. Unfortunately our experience was not as great as the year prior; things have really gone downhill- with no care for cleanliness or service. The container cabins could use some more thorough cleaning prior to customers arriving, but we tidied and were able to move past this - as it is camping after all. I cannot stress enough how little cleaning and maintenance goes on within the park. The portable bathrooms were always out of toilet paper, the garbages beside constantly overflowing. The bathroom within the campground was filthy at all times - the women’s bathroom in particular were disgusting - often being out of toilet paper, paper towels and soap and the feminine hygiene disposals overflowing with soiled sanitary pads. Either every woman in the campground was on their cycle or those bins had not been emptied in a very long time. The bathrooms near the campers pool were also in rough shape. The showers were filthy and again sanitary pads in the corner of the showers as there were no garbages within the shower areas. The same garbage remained in the showers all weekend - even after the so called cleaners went through. The washrooms at this bathroom also had overflowing sanitary pads from the hygiene disposal containers in the stalls and one stall in particular had what appeared to be finger print smears of poop all over the stall wall. I emailed and called the number listed on the flyers of the bathroom - it remained the same the entire long weekend.

The positives to our stay was that the kids really enjoyed all the activities and the areas at the waterpark and indoor play area seemed to be maintained better than the campground. We did have supper at Boston Pizza one night - the food was great - however they had given our reservation to someone else and then after seating us, forgot about us. It took 45 minutes for the waitress to arrive to take orders and at this time she forgot her note pad so had to leave and come back. After eating we waited 30 minutes to get our bill. I don’t typically complain about service at restaurants as I know things can get busy; however the waitress repeatedly told us she forgot about us - so it’s hard to look past that. Again the food was great - but service could be better.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a company picnic at Bingemans, and I must say it was an incredible experience for both adults and children alike. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that Bingemans had gone above and beyond to ensure everyone had a fantastic time.

One of the highlights of the day was the impressive water park. With its expansive water pool and a wide array of thrilling water rides, it provided endless excitement and entertainment. The pool was large enough to accommodate a considerable number of people, allowing everyone to cool off and enjoy the water on a hot summer day. The water rides were equally impressive, offering exhilarating twists and turns that left us exhilarated and eager for more.

What truly stood out at Bingemans was their dedication to providing a family-friendly environment. They had an excellent selection of kid-friendly water rides, ensuring that children of all ages could have a blast. From gentle slides to interactive water play areas, the park catered to the needs and interests of younger visitors. My own kids absolutely loved it and couldn't get enough of the water rides and splash areas.

In addition to the water park, Bingemans had a host of other kid-friendly attractions. The arcade was particularly impressive, offering a wide range of games that kept the little ones entertained for hours. From classic arcade games to the latest interactive experiences, there was something for every child to enjoy. The inclusion of numerous bouncy castles and play structures added to the fun-filled atmosphere, allowing kids to burn off some energy and have a blast in a safe and supervised setting.

The overall experience at Bingemans was exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that everyone had a pleasant and memorable day. The park was well-maintained, with clean facilities and ample seating areas for relaxation and picnicking. It was clear that Bingemans had put a lot of effort into creating a fun and enjoyable experience for families.

I highly recommend Bingemans for anyone looking for a great day out with the kids.
