Now I have been here a few times, and a common theme is that the rooms are way to small for a party of 10 kids. The parents have to stand outside or leave and come back. With multiple parties happening, all the parents are waiting outside blocking the hallway. There is no place to even store coats in the party rooms, which get very warm. Need more considerations for the adults.
The staff is generally very helpful and tries to fix any mistakes as quickly as possible. We had our daughter's birthday party this weekend and ordered three different pizzas (Cheese, Pepperoni and Deluxe) to accommodate different tastes. When we received our pizzas in the room, we got two pizza boxes of pepperoni pizzas, and on top, 4 slices of pepperoni pizzas. I quickly walked over and asked the workers at Pizza Pizza and they had the incorrect information on their sheet, which was different than the information that I had confirmed when I checked in at the front door. To their benefit, they quickly checked with their management and asked if we wanted another pizza and made us another one quickly. But I thought it was interesting that you are confirming at the front entrance and you still get the information wrong.
Since we are not supposed to bring in outside food/snacks, we wanted to add some chips to the party. Each bag of small chips was approx $4.50 for a party of 10 kids; that was $45 for a small bag of chips. A bit ridiculous to charge so much. At least offer a large bag of chips for that price.
With the amount of kids running around, sometimes getting hurt, people coming off the street walking down and just walking through the gates whenever people open them, I am surprised there are no attendants inside the play area keeping an eye on things. Or just at the gated area. One time we were here, we watched a kid puke by the stairs across from the gated area, and it took like 10-15 min for an attendant to show up. All the while kids were running on top and around this and sometimes stepping on it.
The kids definitely have lots of fun; don't get me wrong. This is a massive play area. But they do need to fix up a few of...

Filthy as per usual, crowded, and unsafe.
Filthy: Does anyone ever clean the equipment/balls? The structures/moveable pieces like the balls are downright dirty, and I honestly question how often it actually gets cleaned/sanitized. Take a wipe and see for yourself. Germ/grime/dirt central. I have contacted Funworx in the past and asked about their cleaning routine, to which I did get a response, but I just can't believe it is cleaned as often as they say it is.
Crowded: There are simply too many people allowed into the area where the structure is. Too many children, Too many lazy parents/caregivers sitting on their phones not watching their children. Ridiculous. Perhaps a 'no phone zone' sign would help.
Unsafe: This key card system is laughable. The gate is not monitored and young children wander out without supervision often. I noticed someone had enough sense to complain and a staff member came down and stood beside the gate but had so much attitude about opening the gate for people it was ridiculous. There needs to be a change in order to keep children safe. Upon taking my child to the washroom, we walked by one of the party rooms that appeared to have just had some sort of small fire. There was panic, smoke coming out of the room, and a foul smell that lingered for some time. Did the smoke detectors go off? Nope. The Fire Department will be notified as perhaps they need to investigate the working order of the system there. I felt awful for the staff who were obviously working very hard to remedy whatever situation had just happened. She appeared shaken and concerned and looked to be taking care of whatever it was. However, I am VERY concerned that an alarm did not go off.
All in all, as long as we all keep leaving good reviews, not saying anything about what is flawed about this place, and keep dishing out our money over and over, this place will never change. It's unfortunate. Bingaman's should be ashamed. Sit down and have a good long meeting and address the many safety/cleanliness issues that arise in your...
Read moreThis was the first time my family and I had been to Bingemans. We decided to book the playtime party package for my sons 5th birthday. I had high expectations, as the party package is pretty pricey. For the amount of money they charge for ONE hour in a party room…It just didn’t seem worth it at the end. The party rooms are super small. We felt squished. All the parents ending up having to eat out in the hallway…
I had also called a few days prior to add on an extra child, and food to our party package. When we arrived, they had it in their system, but hadn’t updated their book. So I ended up having to chase down a worker mid way through our party. Because we were missing a wrist band/arcade card for one of the kids. The workers were very friendly and helpful! I just wish that there would have been better communication and organization. So I didn’t have to leave my sons party to resolve this issue.
There was also some confusion with the drinks in our package. Because I was under the impression we were supposed to get pitchers of juice. But only water was put out/ juice boxes for the kids. I had to go back and forth with the party attendant and she gave us a “complimentary” jug of iced tea. But I left feeling irritated, because I felt like that wasn’t what we paid for…
Over all, the kids had fun. They enjoyed the pizza, the unlimited play time in the play structure, and playing games in the arcade. If we are to come back I’d probably just buy regular passes, and not bother booking a party...
