Motel l'Anse de la Lanterne — Hotel in Montebello

We were visiting Omega Park in Montebello and were looking for a reasonably priced place to stay for one night before heading home. The reviews of this small older motel were very good and the price was very reasonable and less that we expected to pay for a motel with such good reviews . Although the building looked a little old, our room was newly renovated, very clean and had a good queen sized bed and free WiFi. The staff were friendly and provided a great breakfast that included warm croissants with jams and honey, orange juice, sliced fresh oranges and grapes. We stayed for two nights. The room was spacious and very clean, we had two queen size beds. Large screen tv with cable channels, miss not having more news channels like CNN. Coffee machine and fridge and microwave a bonus. Beds were comfortable, nice pillows and blankets. We were given a lovely breakfast every morning of fresh fruit, warm croissants and cheese with juice. The only negative was the bathroom which needs a renovation. Floor ceramics, ceiling and heater all need replacement or repair. I hope the owner plans these renovations as we would definitely go back if these repairs take place. We had a wonderful one night stay in this hotel that is located on Montebello's main street, near the camping/marina where you can go for a nice evening walk. The owners were very kind and helpful with any questions we had. We expected to have a room but actually it was an apartment with a small kitchen that had everything we needed to prepare a good meal. Everything looked new and was sparkling clean. In the morning, the owners brought up a very nice breakfast (fruit, fruit juice, croissant) at the time that was most convenient for us. We recommend...
