🌿 Pure Bliss at Graystone Bed and Breakfast, Niagara-on-the-Lake
For the past five summers, my partner Kelly and I have returned to the enchanting Graystone Bed and Breakfast, spending two unforgettable nights each July. It has become our cherished tradition, and every visit reaffirms why we keep coming back.
Our favorite spot is the Cabernet Room, a serene and beautifully appointed space where we always sleep like royalty. The en suite bathroom offers everything one could ask for, and the sliding door opens to a stunning balcony overlooking an immaculately maintained lawn and garden—a true oasis of calm.
🧡 Located in a peaceful and safe residential neighborhood, Graystone is just a short walk from world-class restaurants and the shimmering shores of Lake Ontario, where sunsets paint the sky in awe-inspiring colors.
The real heartbeat of this haven is Nikki, an exceptional host who instantly makes you feel like family. Her warmth is genuine, and her culinary talents are unmatched. Every morning, you’ll be amazed by the gourmet breakfast she lovingly prepares—a feast that rivals any upscale brunch spot. Sharing the breakfast table with guests from all over Canada and the United States, we’ve built lovely connections—strangers upon arrival, friends by departure.
Nikki and her wonderful husband Ben have created a sanctuary of hospitality, comfort, and joy. We simply adore them and count down the days until we see them again.
💌 Thank you, Nikki and Ben. We love you both and can’t wait for next summer. With heartfelt...
Read moreThis was my first time staying in a B&B and I was not disappointed. My girlfriend and I booked the Merlot Suite which was a good sized room with everything we needed. The bed was a comfortable king sized that could be split into two beds. The room also came with a mini fridge and a standard tv with an Amazon Firestick ready to go. The bathroom was wonderful with two sinks and plenty of room for two plus the shower had a shampoo, conditioner and body gel dispensers that smelled amazing. I feel maybe a coffee machine with a few hot beverage options would be a nice addition but was not essential for us personally.
Nicky was amazing! A great host. Very matter-of-fact and pleasant to the guests. Her hospitality background really shined on us and the other guests. There were two other couples staying in the other two rooms which I felt made it a comfortable shared space and not overwhelming socially. The food and the presentation were excellent. It was obvious that there was a lot of love and passion that were put into the meals.
The B&B is a house in a very nice suburban neighborhood which I discovered is common in the area. It was a short walking distance to the town of Niagara-On-The-Lake and a short drive to the best wineries in the area.
This B&B was memorable. Highly recommend to anyone exploring the area for...
Read moreWe thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay in Nicky's home. We used this as our base to visit the falls, which was perfect and less than a half-hour drive. The house is extremely clean, well kept, and decorated with care. There is a beautiful outdoor space as well. Nicky was very proactive, checking in with us about dietary needs beforehand, and she considered our preferences when preparing a truly wonderful breakfast for us. Breakfast is at a set time (8:30 am), which worked well for us. I like that her guests sit together around one table for breakfast. The first day, there were 6 of us, and we had such a good time that we stayed almost 2 hours at the table chatting with "strangers"; just a charming experience. The friendly and communal atmosphere was a great change from the regular hotels we stayed in before on our trip. The neighborhood is a bit of a walk away from the town's center, but has gorgeous properties and gardens, and a few places to eat very close by as well. We walked to the center of the town on our second night, which is a very enjoyable walk. This worked out perfectly for us, and I'm very happy that we decided to stay in the "most beautiful town in Canada," Niagara-on-the-Lake, rather than in Niagara Falls. Thanks to Nicky for making us feel...
