Heritage Trail is a level walking/biking trail that runs along a historic railroad line that, when completed, will link Old Town Niagara on the Lake to St. David’s. The first two of four phases of the trail are complete and in use. At approximately 4-5km (of 11km) completed to date, the trail offers beautiful views of vineyards, wildlife, and vegetation. Educational signage and pollinator gardens have been installed along the first phase of the trail closest to Old Town. The trail is a great and safe additional walking/biking option for community members and visitors in Niagara on the Lake. Much of the funding for the trail has come from generous individual donors.
