Very nice little campground. Restrooms / showers were very well taken care of. For RV’rs, we had to do a minor bit of leveling. There can be some decent puddles to avoid if it’s precipitated recently. The sewer connections can be slightly inconvenient as they are between 2 pieces of wood that parallel the drive. There’s plenty of space and you don’t feel cramped with your rig. IF you would like a nice walk, there is a trail following the Pincher Creek. Mosquitoes can be annoying. For those who want to do laundry, there is one on Main Street. The machines accept primarily Lunies and Toonies(?). Bottom line is we would recommend stopping here for a couple of days. You’re close to Waterton, Ft. McLeod, Head Smashed Buffalo Jump, Frank Slide and other very interesting attractions and museums.

What a wonderful experience we had staying with this camp ground. The hosts were a delight and very friendly. The place was clean, quiet and had free WiFi! It was the perfect base camp for all our exploring and adventures in Waterton National Park. Only 30min away. Pincher Creek is quaint little town. I would go back and definitely recommend this place.

Its a beautiful, quiet little campground. You barely know you are in town and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating!! Not a lot of shade during hot days thou so bring supplies accordingly.

We spent a few nights here recently and enjoyed the tent sites by the creek. The campground is located in a quiet area of town, with easy access to walking trails, the creek and several highways for further exploring in Southern Alberta. Biggest detractors here - the washrooms. There are only 4 bathrooms and I could never be sure if they were securely locked when I was using the facilities, being secured only with a small slide bolt that doesn't align smoothly. Much of the time the washrooms were at best not clean - mud on the floor and in the showers, but at times not fit for use at all. Two of the bathrooms were not restocked with toilet paper over a period of 12 hours. (The dispensers hold two industrial size rolls each). These concerns were shared by other campers. Campground host was friendly enough, but hard to find other than the occasional drive throughs he made through the campground. We've enjoyed staying here several times, but the security and cleanliness of the washrooms seems to have...

The Veteran’s Memorial Campground served as the perfect home base for CPF Alberta & NWT`s Camping en français weekend. Its central location made it easy to access activities around town, while the peaceful setting along the creek provided a beautiful backdrop for outdoor programs and evening campfires. The campground facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Our participants especially enjoyed the walkability to local attractions and the safe, welcoming atmosphere. We’re grateful for the role the campground played in making our event comfortable...
