Stayed here while in town for a sporting event and the hotel was booked by our club. Had a double queen room, main level, parking lot side.
Service at check-in was very good. Nothing crazy but efficient and friendly.
The room was clean. Impeccably clean? No, but acceptable. The room was fairly big and had a lot of counter space, which included ample outlets for our charging needs. Other amenities in the room included: mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, alarm clock, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.
The walls in this place are paper thin. Noise permeates the interior and exterior walls like no other hotel I've ever been in. I could hear the guest next door taking on his phone; I understood his flight was delayed, he had to catch the next one at 6am and that he was charged another $207 dollars to upgrade his seat in the delayed flight. His wake up call at 3:40 am was just as clear. He'd also set his alarm as I could hear it was on the radio setting and not the beep setting. I can hear everything going on at the pool, which is halfway down the hall and I can hear conversations in the parking lot.
The TV is an Led TV but connected to an analog feed. Channels are very limited and the picture is trash. Trying to watch hockey is like playing Blades of Steel on the original NES. I chose to stream the hockey game on my tablet which was the lesser of two evils because the WiFi is in and out. In this day and age, these amenities are standard in most hotels and having 1992 cable is unacceptable.
The location is excellent. There are tons of restaurants and shopping in walking distance, like 10 minutes gets you to more than a dozen decent restaurants. There's a liquor store, dollar store, Wal Mart, Lowe's, Cabela's and more.
I don't stay at Days Inns and probably won't again because of the noise and WiFi issues (if I were working, it would be more...

NEW REVIEW While I do recommend booking the meeting rooms and the pool area is nice. I can not with a good concious recommend someone to be staying in a room here. After checking in we found blood on the bottom sheet of the bed. When we went to the front desk to get help about it the man working the front was incredibly unhelpful and would not call any manager to help anything. He then brought bedding out yo us as if we were to remake the bed ourselves. Another worker finally came out to the front and she went and remade the bed. When we were at the front desk we found a lot of people who were down in the common area/front desk area because the AC was not working in their rooms. In our room the shampoo bottle was empty too. So I'm really not sure what the room attendants are doing! And there was not a single ice bucket in the room either.
The next morning we saw bed bugs on the other bed that we were not using. A cleaning staff said we had to go to the front desk to be helped with it. A bit later the cleaning staff found us at the front desk and came and saw the bed bugs then escorted us to a different from on a different floor. The same front desk worker was there...he was so outrageously slow checking people in...there was a line of at least 6 rooms of people waiting. We thought everything was fine in the 2nd room. And I thought I had inspected the beds...but I forgot to inspect the pillows. The person I was staying in the room with about 6hrs later found a bed beg in this room too.
So...long story short. The evening/night front desk staff is ridiculous. And the cleanliness is horrible. And checking that bathroom products are replenished is clearly not something they are looking at.
I was incredibly dissapointed and...
Read moreFirst off there is no way any of the positive reviews are real. We stay in over 200 rooms a year because my husband travels for work. We are Diamond members and used points to book. This is probably the worst hotel we have stayed at in 30 years and there has been some bad ones. We were arriving late and informed the hotel by email to let them know. No reply. We then texted to say we were delayed even longer and car rental wasn't available did they recommend taxi or uber. No reply. (Found out later a taxi is there free shuttle service) Got there and was given a room on the first floor next to pool. Next day asked to changed rooms as the curtains didn't close and people could see in our room as it was the smoking section right outside our window. Said hotel was full. The rooms are old and dirty, in need of horrible repairs. 3 nights of hell. We didn't spend any time in the room except to sleep as we were visiting family. You could feel the springs in the bed. We had to get our hotel key reset 4x because it kept deactivating. The exit door was jammed open with paper so anyone could come and go. The last night was the best. We got back to room at 7pm and there was a screaming children running through the halls and in the pool and the parents were partying and didn't care. Hotel staff did nothing. By 10:30pm I called to complain about the noise they said there was nothing they could do, they had no security and the staff was alone. Great. No security. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Do not believe the positive reviews. The Wyndham group should be ashamed and their name should not be on the building. The owners should be...
