I want to give five stars so badly I really do because the bread is consistently phenomenal.
But the staff was really uneducated about their own products. I have a soy allergy and spoke to them on the phone explaining my allergy and what I wanted them to make based on their website's allergen information. Well they made me stuff I'm allergic to and when I went in the store telling them what I needed they just kept saying that their bread isn't made with eggs or butter (considering I'm not allergic to either of those ingredients I didn't find it relevant).
But hey I get it we all aren't aware of allergies so I would typically let it go, but the staff at this Cobb's is just generally unfriendly and lazy so I just can't give 5 stars. And truthfully this...
Read moreShout out to their manager, Faith. I am rarely in the S end & haven't shopped at this Cobs in a very long time. A piece of my order wasn't put into my bag & I didn't realize it under I was back home in the very NW end of the city. Thankfully my Mom was going back to the S end the next day so I contacted the store & was able to get a pickup of my missing scone. The store also generously included an extra scone (that I was unfamiliar with) which smelled amazing. One bite & I was hooked! I called to say thank you & was surprised to learn the new to me scone was their gingerbread! Call me a convert & hand me another...
Read moreCobs Bread has been my favourite for a long time, until today (Sun) at 2:30 PM. As usual, I went to COBS Bread on Gordon Road, Regina and ordered a few scones, requesting that they be warmed up. The girl at the counter abruptly snapped at me, yelling that we don't warm our products for customers. Also, the oven is not on, and she cannot turn it on for me. I requested her to warm them up in the Microwave, which they always do upon request. She said that they don't have any Microwave at the shop. I said that I always get it warmed up. She replied that it was a lie.
