I grew up eating Korean food my whole life. Ate it daily at hone. Ate at many Korean restaurants all over Korea, various K-towns in Seattle metropolis, and continue to eat regularly at various Koreatown restaurants in LA and Orange County. To be honest I was a bit skeptical about Korean food in the middle of a small ski town in BC, Canada, but we read about the restaurant in a local magazine and had to try it out.
They just opened barely a month ago. Kitchen is run by a single Korean family. The mother and father are in the kitchen and the three daughters run the place.
It's a pub so there are plenty of alcohol choices with an emphasize on Asian beers and large choice of Korean soju. It also appears to stay open later than most restaurants in Revelstoke.
The food was legit. They have authentic Korean dishes and some Korean fusion bar food, and the Korean fried chicken. My favorite was the Korean fried chicken. The dirty sauce and soy honey garlic are both good but I like the original best. I wish they gave a little more pickled radish with the chicken. The pajeon (Korean pancake) was solid. My friends like the jeyook which is a spicy marinated pork stir fry. I really liked the cauli-fry. Street fries were good but need a little more meat on it.
Just as any good Korean bar would, they have k-pop blaring on a large TV and have a pool table in a side room.
I was very pleasantly surprised and would definitely go back to try some of the other dishes.
If you just want to drink it's a...

Seoul Street sets out to bring a taste of Korea to the Canadian Rockies, and I’d say mission accomplished—at least if the goal was to make me consider moving in permanently.
First up: the Pajeon. We went with the vegetable version, and after a long drive from Lake Louise, it was exactly what we needed—crispy, flavorful, and the kind of comfort food that makes you forget how much gas you just paid for.
Now, let’s talk Korean Fried Chicken. Three words: Golden. Brown. Delicious. (Or as the pros say, G.B.D.). It arrived sizzling hot, and we wisely ordered it classic style with the dirty sauce on the side. That dirty sweet gochujang sauce? Absolute fire—both figuratively and literally. Don’t skip it.
Sadly, the J.J. noodles had already been wiped out (clearly a fan favorite), so we pivoted to spicy fried noodles, two bowls of ramen, and some kimchi fried rice. Nobody at the table went home hungry—or if they did, it was their own fault. I personally took down a bowl of spicy beef ramen, and the broth was next-level rich, perfectly seasoned, and just the right amount of spice to keep things interesting.
If you’re in Revelstoke, Seoul Street is a must. Whether you’re fresh off the slopes or just craving some late-night eats, this spot has you covered. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to figure out how to recreate that dirty...
Read moreWe live near Korea-town in Burnaby and I have to say that Seoul Street is on par or better than any similar restaurant in K-town.
We've been travelling through BC and had enough of typical pub style food. K-style fried chicken in Revelstoke...why not?
We ordered the mandu (pan-fried pork dumplings), a seafood pancake, and boneless honey soy garlic chicken. Fairly safe if unoriginal choices on our part, but we didn't want to think too much.
The mandu was perfectly fried and went well with the simple soy vinegar dip.
The seafood pancake was crispy outside, moist inside, and very tasty. Sometimes you get pancakes that are just too "dough-y". This was perfectly balanced.
The boneless chicken was an incredible balance of sweet and savory and best of all, it stayed crispy even with the sauce coating. The chicken pieces were also well-portioned and juicy.
The restaurant had a cool vibe and seemed very popular with the local crowd.
Maybe we lucked out on a good day; dont know. All I can say is that we were both surprised and extremely satisfied with...
