This place provides 2 strong perks - stunning view and location close to Tofino downtown. Literally you will have amazing Tofino harbor view and enjoy right from your bed. Also, within 2minutes driving or 15minutes walking, you can have great culinary service in Tofino downtown or enjoy their other tourism attractions. However, this motel has some serious downsides as well. I stayed their suite #3, but the room was much less spacious than what I expected from their pictures in the ad. It was too tight space even for two people to move easily. Also the appliance was quite old and not maintained properly. My foods in their mini fridge kept freezing so I had to turn down the temperature setting, but next morning, I found huge water leak from the fridge, which turned out the fridge hasn't been defrosted for a long time so the ice chunk built-up in the defrost pan melted and overflown at the different temperature setting. Plus, the hot water tank has very limited capacity which made the hot water stop-serviced after just one bath (fyi, that suite doesn't have shower). So it was impossible for two people taking wash and bath at the same night. Unfortunately there was no on-site superintendent, I couldn't get the immediate support other than phone instruction. After two consecutive nights hot water issue, the superintendent found the limited capacity of hot water tank and offered 10% discount and advised where the auxiliary outdoor shower facility located. But in the rainy winter nights, not a many people really want to take shower in the outdoor shower booth. I think this motel can provide much better experience if they care the facility and the customer little more as they have amazing location benefits. But, unfortunately, this time was not very pleasant experience for me and I wouldn't recommend the...

Let’s start with the positive: the location is great about 10-15 min walk from downtown Tofino. The view from cabine #1 was fabulous. On a clear day you can see the mountains and sunset. The place is quiet (surroundings) and we loved the sauna. Now the room: it’s cute, bed was comfy, nice sofa and table but the bathroom -which is quite important- is old with a shower not working properly, tiny old bath and no space/counter to put your stuff, I ended up using the bath… a mirror in the bedroom or living room would be useful. All in all, the cabine has nice furniture but missing a few things and still has a few old things. You will hear people in the room on top so hope to have quiet neighbours. Unlike other comments, not having staff welcoming us didn’t really bother us, and they answered our text quickly, but in the information they provided the code but had forgotten to give the cabine #. Lucky enough, someone was there to tell us which room we had. For the same -expensive- price, and compared to our stay in Ucluelet where we had a brand new very luxurious room with crazy view, private beach + breakfast, we would have expected more. If they complete the renovation and/or add breakfast or add bathrobes, body cream, plus little things to make it more luxurious, it will be 100%...

We stayed in Suite 5. PROS: very nice location, close to town, beautiful waterfront views with patio, bbq, contactless checkin, good wifi CONS: The suite is not sound proofed. We could hear the people above us walking around, talking, and their dog chewing its bone. We did text the number at one point - it was pretty bad and late at night. The noise level significantly reduced, but we could still hear the people above us talking and any movement they did, felt like an earthquake. I'd recommend earplugs. We also had dirt or something all over our bathroom wall when we arrived. We'd left a comment about it during a survey we received after our first night (through booking.com) but nothing was ever done about it. Many of the kitchen supplies were worn out, and it looks like other people on other review sites have also complained about this but they have not bothered to fix it. The toaster is broken (permanently on bagel toasting setting), the large pot only has one handle. Theres no corkscrew or bottle opener, nor oven mitts in the kitchen if you are using the oven.

For the price, I wouldn't recommend this suite, but the location is very nice and maybe...

We stayed at The Shoreline Tofino for a 3 night break, and we loved every second of our stay. We stayed in Cabin 3, and although it was compact, it delivered everything we wanted and more. The room itself was wonderful, and they had really maximised all the space. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was well thought out. The products in the room were all locally made, and there were lots of little touches that added to the experience. The main draw is of course the absolutely incredible views from the balcony. It was so peaceful and just the most perfect place to sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Whether it was a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening, it really was something special. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay whilst in Tofino, I would highly recommend booking a stay at The Shoreline - as it’s such a beautiful place.
