We stayed here on two separate nights before and after a few days on Santo Antao. The hotel is centrally located so convenient for the ferry. There was a bit of street noise on Saturday night but the other night was very quiet. There's a small but attractive reception area and a nice stairway up to the rooms which are of a good size. In fact, ours was more like a small apartment, with seating and kitchen areas as well. The supply of hot water to the shower wasn't brilliant and seemed to struggle if too many demands were made on it by other guests, but that is the only real criticism. By far the best aspect of both overnight stays was the excellent breakfast, which is served on the third floor with views over the town. Our room was quite spacious and had access to the balcony, it was clean and comfortable. The location is centrally with lots of restaurants and shops within 2 minutes walking distance.
