Hostal Miskanty — Hotel in San Pedro de Atacama

A great 10 room hostel close to main area. The bed was comfortable and all the coat hangers and hooks were great. The included breakfast included juice, yoghurt, cereal, bread, meat and cheese, tea and coffee. Washing was available at a cheap rate. The staff, who spoke Spanish were helpful and friendly. I had a great stay at what is considered a reasonable price in this remote location and over Christmas. We arrived at Miskanty in the morning, the staff was very attentious - they rushed cleaning our room, which we were able to occupy at 1pm (two hours before the usual checkin hour). It is very close to the main street (caracoles), it has good wifi, breakfast is ok, beds are very confortable.||I give it 5 stars because the staff is so friendly, they let us use the showers at the end of the day (we had checked out in the morning and gone to a tour) and rest there while waiting for the transfer to...

😊: Nice location.. 😢: No one at the reception if you have a question. I don’t have data to call. The lamp was broken so I wanted someone to change it but how can you ask if no one is there. It is not well isolated, you hear all noise: people talking, dogs, doors, everything. I did not sleep that much. Very old and ugly room, could be updated, for the price it is a shame. No hot water: I tried morning, noon, afternoon, evening, I had only freezing cold water. No space in the bathroom to...
