The hotel is clean, breakfast is hygienic but I found this place not a good value for money and low on utility. The price we paid for the room and the value we received, surely don’t make sense. ||It was nice that they gave a small Chilean lady (a souvenir) and sippers to carry waters in room and by principle, they want to keep the customers happy. However, there was lack in brain & heart and behaviour of most of the staffs were too cold. ||Few clear elements of discomfort which I would like to highlight : |1) WIFI almost doesn’t work or even it works sometimes, it’s too slow and nothing can be done. You cannot even stream a video in that speed. |2) The rooms look good but there is no proper wardrobe or table. Even if you order 2 dishes from room service, there is no space to keep those. Nice look but functionally ineffective.. No refrigerator or minibar. No tea coffee kettle. |3) The people in reception(I interacted with two gentlemen) are positive, but the restaurant waiters are too cold. They never smile. Exception was Francisca, who was there only for one evening during my 4 days stay. Other waitresses are too cold and always give you a not-so-welcome feeling. I was too uncomfortable with their gesture |3) I ordered food at room many times and most dishes are around 19-20 USD per portion and I wanted some chopped onions & chillis on the side, and was surprised (while check out) to see for a salsa on side they charged 5 USD for each request. |4) I think it’s better to send the bill along with the room service and get it signed by the guest rather than giving a surprise on check out |5) water flow in basin and bathing space are slow and it clogs and take time to pass out|6) After staying 4 days, I requested for just one hour late check out and they didn’t accommodate that. I have never seen such non-supportive behaviour in any hotel of this standard. Specially when checkout is at 12 noon ans check in at 2 PM, one hour grace can always be adjusted by any house...
Read moreThis is a very beautiful and comfortable hotel. Medium size, with excellent comfortable rooms and a small restaurant onsite. The room was really spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Anything we did not have in the room was available on request from the reception, including the humidifier that was placed in our room on our request as the air is very dry in Atacama.
We also appreciated the environmental conscious approach by the hotel including the bottles to refill gifted to us upon arrival and the water fountain with water 24/7. The hotel also offered free (very good quality) coffee including espresso, cappuccino, etc. all day long.
The parking is rather small, but the staff who is always available can park the car if needed and find a place.
The service is a separate topic that we really wanted to highlight. Throughout all the hotel from the front desk to the cleaning staff around everyone was very nice and always available not only for our requests, but also anticipated many of them. Especially we really enjoyed to chat with Florencia in the restaurant.
The restaurant onsite has limited menu, but the food was outstanding with very reasonable prices. Though the concept of a la carte breakfast is not something we usually like, but it was always fresh. We would also have appreciated more information about the places to visit, but there are plenty of shops outside of the hotel who can provide it.

Read moreThe hotel is an oasis in San Pedro de Atacama. very well located. the rooms are very clean with nice amenities and extremely comfortable! Everything at the hotel is nicely decorated- the rooms as eell the common area. breakfast and dinner as well the drinks are also very good! But the staff is what this accommodation is all about. once we got to Calama and took the rented car we headed to Jumbo supermarket to buy some things. once we exit the supermarket our car was broken in and all our stuff stolen- electronics, clothes, shoes, literally everything!! I called the hotel to tell them and to ask for their help and they immediately asked to talk to the police and facilitate our communication with them. once we arrived to the hotel every member of the staff acted so kind and empathetic. They always went above and beyond to help us and feel better despite what happened. And all that effort they put in really worked. they made a huge difference in our mood for this holiday.
