Mixed but still very positive feedback (hence the 5 stars)

Pros: - Additional blanket available Very reasonable laundry rate ($3,000/kg) Laundry returned in less than 24 hours Spacious and pleasant bathroom Eco-friendly hostel Excursion for $9,000 (min 4p) with sunset over the Luna Valley and observation of the Atacama starry sky (and free tea!). Departure 5 p.m. | Return 8:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome ! Good-humored host!! Didn't hesitate to provide genuine help after a stray dog ​​bit me, without expecting anything in return

Cons: - Only one credit card payment is accepted per guest A conversation with the host about a payment was strange. (Not having enough cash) He then offered to add 9% to my payment, then 19%, then 6%, before finally canceling the possibility of extending my stay. This may be just a personal feeling; I know the hostel was experiencing an internet outage, which was a major concern for our host.

Overall, I highly recommend the hostel, and especially the "Sunset over Moon Valley and Stargazing" excursion.

We stayed in the hostel multiple nights, it is very close to the bus terminal and the Center. The kitchen, dorms and bathrooms are very clean and tidy, you find everything you need and have enough space to relax. You can book tours, day trips as well as the tours to uyuni directly at the hostel, which I would really recommend. My friends and I went through some trouble with another agency in the town and the owner of the hostel, Victor, was super kind to help us out. He really was great and engaged in helping us, super supportive and friendly, trust him and don’t make the same mistake we did. It seems he cares a lot about the hostel as well as his guests and their well-being we felt very comfortable during the whole stay,...

The hostel does a lot of things right - small, sociable, beautiful patio, great kitchen and affordable. It unfortunately also does a lot of things wrong: the owners don’t seem to trust their guest very much (asked us multiple times about payments we had already made, we had to leave our passport when we weren’t able to pay immediately upon check-in) which made the stay a little uncomfortable. The outdoor area could be much more comfortable (only one hammock, the chairs aren’t really made for hanging out). So yeah, it’s close to a great stay which.. it...
