MINTAKA HOSTAL — Hotel in San Pedro de Atacama

Hostal Mintaka is run by some of the kindest and loveliest people I met during my travels in Chile. They made me feel at home, made sure I was comfortable and were available if I ever needed anything - whether it was tour recommendations, laundry, late check out or holding on to my bag while I went to Uyuni. Special thank you to Angy for countless hours chatting and your patience with my Spanish :) The hostal is located a 3 minute walk from Caracoles - the Main Street in SPdA with all the restaurants, cafes, shops and travel agencies, but far enough for it to be peaceful. The internet is fast and reliable. I had to work while in SPdA, did video chats, streamed Netflix etc - never had any issues. Don’t think twice about it and book...

The hostel is very clean, with an amazing view from the terrace. Good kitchen, comfortable bed, very good hot shower. The location is wonderful, very close to the center, but quiet. ||Victor is an excellent host, always available. He was very helpful in many situations while I was there and helped me with some papers I needed to deal. Thank you so much!||Definitely I'll stay there...

Abbiamo apprezzato molto la vicinanza al centro servizio lavanderia a prezzi onesti (mi hanno perso una maglia termica non più ritrovata) possibilità di parcheggiare di fronte alla struttura la titolare carinissima e gentile e molto attenta possibilità di avere la stufetta che riscaldava perfettamente la stanza acqua caldissima

Non abbiamo apprezzato il fatto che ci avessero detto ci fossero ma non c'erano reception h 24 parcheggio riservato dentro stanza sulla strada/marciapiede quindi con finestra sempre chiusa, facendo risultare la stanza buia assenza riscaldamento, e la prima notte siamo gelati xkè nessuno nonostante la richiesta ce l'ha portata, l'addetta alla reception Adriana era piuttosto inaffidabile da questo punto di vista. Mille promesse...e poi potevamo contare sempre e solo sulla titolare. Se non fosse stato x lei il nostro bagno che dava sul cortile sarebbe sempre stato aperto. colazione molto tardi e senza...
