Valparaiso de mi amor — Hotel in Valparaíso

Ana Maria had us welcome to this very charming, although simple hostel. She was friendly and made an effort to communicate with us, despite my poor spanish. She was also helpful with directions to nice restaurants and things to do around the region. |Best part is that the location couldn't be better, it is reasonably near a metro station and just a little walk to all the nice locations that make Valparaiso special. |The rooms were clean and beds were good. There were two charming living rooms, one of them in a kind of balcony with a nice view to the cerros. Some hostals don't put reals prices for new year's eve, this hostal is one of them. We had booked the night for 36000 CLP: when we arrived they told us there had been an error, it was 142800 CLP. We weren't even sure to have the bedroom we booked because the hostal was full due to the cheap price announced. Only owners can set prices on the website -so not hostelworld's fault.We obviously did not stayed there. Still waiting to get the deposit back.They DON'T respect...

La peor experiencia que he tenido en un alojamiento, Camas con insectos vivos y muertos en los colchones, ducha mala, Te apuran cuando estás desayunando para que otros ocupen la única mesa que tienen, La dueña es un ser prepotente y sin vergüenza, reservé al menos un mes antes con todo el detalle de mi grupo familiar, al llegar una trabajadora me cobró lo que decía la página y al cabo de la segunda noche nos íbamos a dormir y la dueña de muy mala forma me dijo que Booking había realizado mal el presupuesto, que ese era el precio por una noche, llamó con altavoz a Booking y ellos dijeron que esa era la tarifa que estableció ella misma, al fin nos miraba horrible y nos sentíamos muy incómodos, le hice el pago por el doble de lo que ya había pagado pq quería que nos fuéramos.
