||the following please find a detailed complain about the hotel, and make your own conclution about whether to choose it or not.||Dear Sir/Madam||Morning from GMT+8, and it was not my plan to get up around this time of the day. I was woke by your pest control ontractors at my bedroom door.||I’ve checked in at the night of 22nd, and these are the problems occurred so far:|1. On the night of the check in with the receptionist:|-receptionist:only 705 and 905 is vacant. There’s no room with an open view or on the higher floor available, you can try your luck tomorrow afternoon, you don’t have much belongings, should be easy for you to move around.||2. Change of room:|After checking in, the tv was not working, it took them 15 minutes to get a real person to come down to the room, and another 10 to tell me “it’s not working”.|And the solution is, change me to 1705, which doesn’t exist on the list when I checked in. The tv’s still fussy, and they told me it’s the cable vendor’s problem, not theirs. There’s no more room, and nothing more they could’ve done. After the whole thing was settled (not by my choice), it was after midnight.||The next morning, the cleaning lady came knocking on the door just a few minutes after ten, and I told her that I checked in really late last night, and your manager on duty should’ve told you, and you might consider coming back later.||The cleaning lady goes:” I’m going to be off duty soon, and it’s 10 o’clock, you should be up. There’s long term tenant here, they don’t want me to be in their room in the afternoon”||By the way, I was suffering from jet-lag, and I don’t think the cleaning lady I paid for get to dictate my time table. And if your facility is not capable of differentiating short term guest form long term ones, it might be for the good of all of us, to just shut down the function, wouldn’t you agree?||The day after, the manager came, and he (manager Leo Zheng) was professional enough to get me to move to a room with a better view (relatively), only the room is smaller (short of one study and the walk-in closet became a closet, and there’s no window in the bathroom, the hand washing bowl table was half the length). I was fine with the down grade, as long as the tv’s working, and the manager agreed that they will do the cleaning in the afternoon.||3. Cleanning issue:|You think they’d let me finally settle down? No.|There’re plastic seals on each tube of shampoo and conditioner. And after the third day of my stay, which means they’ve cleaned the place at least twice, there’re still like four or five plastic seals on the shower room wall.|The reason why I’m not happy about it, is that I’m not the one who put them there. So what else didn’t they change? Everything “looked clean” I’d bet.||4. Pest control:|On the 25th, pest control barge into the room, knocked on my bedroom door on 9:30 while I’m in the bed, depite the specific instruction given over and over again that please do the cleaning and other stuff after 15:00.||The receptionist on the phone(female) told me, okay, they will tell the manager to relay the message to the house keeping department. Like it’s none of her business at all.||After addressing the issue face to face, it still has to be “relayed”as a favor for the guests, and it seemed so normal for them. I think it’s more fit a description to remove the word “service” out of your brand.||5. These’s no complain section on the Chinese website:|Only a bunch of names in English attached to Chinese surnames, and landline numbers for “business oppertunities”. Customers, especially individuals, are ignorable as long as we pay the five star hotel worth of price,...

WE spent 7 nights at Ascott Beijing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It was winter time but the whole apartment was more than adequately heated, to the extent that we started sweating. Maybe turning down the temperature by a few degrees will be more environmentally friendly.||THe apartment was huge with a large Living room, kitchen, laundry with washer cum dryer, 2 very spacious bedrooms with large and comfortable beds. It was very clean and located in a quiet but convenient location. There are many restaurants around the apartment, providing a wide range of food. A convenient store just opp the apartment, medium supermart around the corner. Huge walmart and a large mall just 10 min walk from the apartment. ||Breakfast was included in our package, and the spead was good with both Chinese and Western selections. ||Small suggestion : Install more lights in the lifts, there was barely any light in the lift. we and other passengers had difficulties reading the lift buttons, and we saw many customers who had to use their handphone lights to read the buttons||We would recommend stay at the...
