While this hotel is listed as a 4-star property, my stay suggests it is more accurately a 2–3 star experience by today’s standards. The nightly rate of ¥400–500 RMB is fair for what it offers at that level, but travelers expecting a true 4-star experience may be disappointed.
The building itself appears to have been a higher-end property decades ago, perhaps 30–40 years back, but time and wear are evident throughout. The breakfast buffet had a nice array of Chinese and Western style food. I also went to the cafe during the night and the food was not bad, neither were the prices considering it is a hotel restaurant. I will definitely stay here again and I would definitely...
