I recently stayed at this hotel in Chengdu, Sichuan, China during a short cultural trip. We are originally from China but now live in the United States, and we wanted our child to better experience and appreciate the rich culture of southwest China. This hotel provided the perfect base for such a visit.From the moment I checked in, the service was truly five-star. The staff were professional, courteous, and always attentive. The hotel itself is elegant, clean, and conveniently located near many cultural sites and great local food.What truly stood out was the hotel’s outstanding support when I encountered a stressful situation. On the tour in another city after leaving Chengdu, I realized I had lost my passport. After searching everywhere, I called the hotel hoping for help. The staff responded immediately and took my concern very seriously. They carefully searched the room and eventually found the passport hidden in the gap of the sofa. They contacted me right away and arranged for the passport to be sent by express mail. I received it just in time, avoiding the need to cancel flights or reapply for travel documents.I am incredibly grateful for the staff’s honesty, efficiency, and professionalism. After explained to the lady manager in charged, she still declined without explanation and said hotel policies. Frankly speaking as an international hotel, u should understand foreign customers situation instead of arguing and standing firm with your naive decision. Totally will not recommend to any foreign tourists staying in this over declaring stars local hotel. Hopefully their senior management should look into this terrible frontline customer handling behaviour. Your overpriced hotel rates do not deserve this type of low class customer reception. Read moreWe recently visited Chengdu for 10 days and decided to stay at the Lyhn International Hotel. We were very impressed with the hotel, the facilities and the staff. We had a great room with a walk in closet and large bathroom and all the amenities that you would expect. The room also came with daily laundry service and afternoon tea. Whenever we needed anything, the staff were extremely helpful and prompt, a special thanks to the lady in the lobby tea area and the breakfast staff that made us specially welcome. The breakfast had a wide variety of Chinese and International dishes, so you will be very satisfied with the meal. A few days we also joined the included Chinese afternoon tea, which was a great way to relax and unwind. In summary, this is a great hotel at a very reasonable price, with all the amenities that you would need and very close to the Tai Koo Li shopping district.
