My stay with China Guang Zhou Kempinski was a very memorable experience. It was our wedding anniversary and one of our best stay with any hotels that we have stayed in previously. I have been to many countries in the world and stayed with many different brand of hotels. However, while I have stayed in more luxurious hotel establishment before but it is the GZ Kempinski hotel professional staff and their polite but friendly training that made a memorable stay for us. Frist we need to thank day-time assistant front office manager Tommy Cao and night time supervisor Toby Zou. They were both very professional, helpful and gave us the cozy caring feel. We encountered a couple of promble during our stay and they help us to resolve these problem immediately. The third person we thank you will be the room service staff by the name of Kelly. She did a wonderful job dressing up our bed with rose petals and towel-made swans. They was very touching. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we definitely will recommend GZ Kempinski hotel to our reader as well as our friends. |Room: clean and spacious|Breakfast: mostly Chinese food but still have enough western choice to eat. |Location: very convenient||Keep up...

Read moreOverall we would say the amount we paid to stay at this kempinski hotel was not worth it. The service is not great when you compare it to the other chain of hotels overseas. Staff were not attentive to requests made, especially at the buffet breakfast. Many staff also cannot speak English. There is 1 restaurant in the hotel. The breakfast buffet had a variety of options including fresh dumplings. Although the lunch menu was quite strange with a weird mix of Asian and western foods, the food was actually quite nice and fresh. We stayed in a larger room with a kitchen and although it was aesthetically nice, it was quite dirty. We had to request for our floors to be cleaned. As for the surrounding area, there is construction going on which didn’t seem to be noisy while we were there in late April. The hotel is about a 20-25 minute drive in traffic to the canton tower and there is not much in terms of shops or sightseeing that is...
