This dim sum spot came highly recommended as one of the best in Guangzhou, with several branches across the city. I decided to visit the original location, known for serving traditional Cantonese-style dim sum. The menu featured all the classics—steamed rice dumplings with chicken, shrimp and meat dumplings, century egg and pork porridge, sponge cake, xiao long bao, steamed pork ribs, and radish cake.

Arrived at 5.30pm. Restaurant has no crowd. Was ask to proceed to 2nd floor. At 2nd floor, no one to show me to table. Went to service desk and was rudely told to take any empty table. Sat in a 2 seater table but no service. When called, a waitress came and ask what tea I want. No menu and no service. Finally menu came and when I sought the help of the waitress on certain dishes, I was rudely told to read the menu myself. Waitress couldnt speak Cantonese. What a rude bunch of people at Dian Dude.
