I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The location is perfect—just a short walk to West Lake, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a beautiful view of the city. The bed was very comfortable, and the amenities provided were excellent.The staff were polite, attentive, and always willing to help. From the smooth check-in to the friendly concierge, everything went seamlessly. Pros:- Very convenient location, a couple of minutes walk to the West Lake.- The lobby is spotless, check in/out is smooth.- We went with a driver/tour guide (Zhu Feng) associated with the hotel who was very helpful, drove us around the lake for most of a day in pouring rain.- Bellman is very helpful with loading luggage (he needs to work out more though :).- Breakfast is good, but not great.Cons- The room is a little outdated, needs some maintenance work.- The AC is the worst. The one in our room was blasting air all day long, but can barely keep the temperate at 25 C (77 F).- The gym is pretty crappy. Looks like it's been rented out for external use, and it's not very clean or well maintained.Overall got a good bone but needs some management shakeup...
