Had no problem finding the hotel even though there is not much signage, but security guy at the entrance on the main road is really helpful, he brought me personally to the lift lobby at the other side of the hotel that can bring us to the check in area at level 12.||The hotel is located around exit 1 of the jing’an tube/subway station (line 2), before reaching the road level there is another staircase allowing us to cross to the other side of the road.|go up the left side staircase once we reach the end of the walkway.||Once we reach the check in desk, all the front desk officer is quite busy but they manage to check me in quit fast, and they even upgrade me to the corner suite, which is really big considering the price here. There are 3 lifts serving the rooms and it is quite easy to get one without a long wait, maybe it is not a peak period.||4 bottles of water is given complimentary and there dining room and bedroom is separated. There is a huge window (floor to ceiling) surrounding the room but the curtain is thick enough so no worries there.||The bathroom is really big which i think it is a waste, could have done a walk in wardrobe or something like that. Stand shower and bathtub are both provided.||Breakfast is complimentary on my booking and the selection is good, hot noodles is served. The buffet selection is good. But since i only took their breakfast once so i cannot evaluate it any further.||Nearby the hotel there is a flea market beside jing’an temple area (seasonal) and you can easily find convenience store and food at the subway station, the jing’an subway station is connected to many malls and many ATM is available there.||On the downside, there noise level from the street is still quite bad from the 16th floor.|Can still hear pedestrian talking loudly and the car honks quite clear. Read moreI got directions from the hotel before arrival.They were spot on.Metro Line 2 to Jing’an an Temple Station take exit 1.On reaching street level go down the subway and come out on the left.(a bit difficult with case down and up stairs)Pass Old Navy and the next building has a sign Paramount Communities.Go up the steps cross the room going to the left of the lifts and you will find the hotel lifts.||The reception is on the 12th floor.Check In was very quick and the staff were very pleasant.The rooms and corridors are charming ,Art Deco with a Chinese influence.I had booked a Business double which was really large.There was a king size bed ,large screen TV (about 4 English speaking Channels),desk Tea and coffee,fridge.The wardrobe an.Iron and board,umbrella,and safe.The bathroom was large with shower.||Breakfast was included and was very acceptable.A mixture of western but mainly Chinese hot food.There was also a continental section.After the second night I had a noise problem not that was not the hotels fault.I approached the reception and explained.The Guest Service Manager,Evan Wang immediately took over and straight away offered an upgraded room at no extra cost.I packed and the hotel transfer my case to the new room .This was slightly larger the bathroom had bath and separate shower and his and hers sinks.There was a couch and Tv which swivelled 360 degrees.The wi fi was adequate .But get a VPN if you need to stay in touch.During my stay all staff were most polite and helpful Being close to the metro it was easy to get around.What I liked after a hard days sightseeing was the corridor decor was most soothing and homely.After a trip to Beijing I returned and my stay was just as good...
