Sapar is a low-key but popular Uyghur restaurant serving a Halal menu of food from Xinjiang, alongside a bunch of Chinese dishes. A typical Uyghur dish was the Big Plate Mutton, a stew of tender chunks of mutton along with carrots, potatoes, onions, Shanghai bok choy, and corn in a tomato and red chili broth flavored with spices. We got a side of round Xinjiang Nan bread, which was thin in the center and puffy/chewy on the sides and had a unique fragrance. Thankfully with this restaurant, you get both. The satay lamb skewers are the highlight without doubt. Just order them with your eyes closed. The meat is tender, the seasoning on point. You get to savour the taste of meat which is how it should be. The naans are a great item, with or without the food.

Naans were very nicely done. But, the beef was a bit hard to chew. The lamb skewers were soft n tasty. However, the beef skewers were a bit hard too.
